Update Speculation thread

I don't mean to be the downer of the forums, but if TDev is really pulling all nighters to get this update out, I would rather wait. Me, being an insomniac, I know how it feels getting sleepless nights, and it isn't fun. TDev, I really ask you not to stress yourself. If you truly are working too much, take a break. I know many people may want the update now (I'm one of those people) but if it means hurting yourself, please do take your time.

 

I'll check it tomorrow I guess.

Beamng has achievements!!!!!
I saw it when i started up steam.
And one of them is called : Experience the start of the story!!!
Story mode? coming out in this update?

 

I don't think it'll come out today. They still have to fix bugs in the code and actually setting up the devblog with info, good pics, check the spelling and make and edit videos for new car(s) and possible demonstration videos takes alot of time to make.

 

This is why I'm going to be a lorry driver, not a game designer I prefer them to do all that hard coding work instead lol

I wonder what we will be able to do in career mode... Will there be a possibility to buy and maintain new/used vehicles using money which you need to earn by doing stuff like deliveries or races? Or is that too soon to hope for?

I wonder if the LeGran will feature with new improved sounds.

 

Probably not the devs have made sounds only for the covet and imo it isnt that great i think its too high pitched.They said the needed an audio engineer for BeamNG but im not sure if they found somebody

 

I think they will get all the cars done, and then fix the sounds and give exclusive sounds to each car.

 

Yea that will be amazing but i dont want to push them too much and actually i like the classic truck sound for all vehicles it has become kind of a trademark for Beamng

Yep you are right but i think if you have 500+ hours on Beamng it doesnt really matter.But a growling v8 sound for the pickup wouldnt be bad i tell ya

Well you can have that even now, with one sound mod package.

 

They have an person working on the audio.
