Re: Mountain Side Testing I'm not sure what's wrong, but I'm guessing that your map is using texture files that are located outside of your map folder. If they come from another map (i.e. Gridmap) then they won't load properly on other people's computers. Make sure all your texture files are located in the same folder as this specific map, and it should work.
Re: Mountain Side Testing Have you downloading it yet? Cause that problem's been fixed for a while now.
Re: Mountain Side Testing Oh, whoops XD Hadn't actually downloaded the map yet, I just thought that was the problem you guys were talking about. I'll try out the map right now and tell you what I think's causing any problems.
Re: Mountain Side Testing Beta V1 Is Now Out! EDIT:Your so mean, you didn't even download my new map,
Re: Mountain Side Testing I have no textures or a ground, i only see some ramps and water Oo And a million errors
Re: Mountain Side Testing Really nice Map. But there is a Texture missing (Pic Attached) Keep up the good Work!
Re: Mountain Side Testing What are the errors you are getting? Okay I'll change the .cs file, then make an update. Thanks btw.
Re: Mountain Side Testing Hey Holland, I think I found what was causing the texture issue. It looks like you just forgot to delete the warning texture from the terrain. Once I deleted it all the missing textures were replaced with sand, everything else seems to be fine. This is a great map, lots of fun, thanks for all your hard work! For those of you out there that were having texture problems just open the editor "F11" and select terrain painter, then delete the "warning material", and your good to go .
Re: Mountain Side Testing I've been working with Holland on fixing all the errors on the map, I fixed about 99% of them for him but the texture still seemed to not show. Torque 3D is quite a pain, you get it working on your computer to find out it doesn't work on someone else's, that's the hardest part And by the way, that texture is supposed to be concrete, so what you could do is change the warning material to concrete, then you'll get the map working properly
Re: Mountain Side Testing Yea.. I'm not looking forward to that, started working on my own map a few days ago. I thought sand was a slightly odd choice lol, Ill switch it over to concrete instead .
Re: Mountain Side Testing Thanks for this update, I've been working on this damn concrete texture for the past few days. When you replace it with concrete, as soon as you paint it, it should cover all that is supposed it be concrete. Let me know. Update (imported from here) Added road to get to mud pit, added gas station. I hope by next update I will have the concrete texture problem solved. And added depth to the mud pit and sandy beaches.
Re: Mountain Side Testing Beta V2 Beta V2 is now out! With fixed texture problems, and added areas! Download now!
