Some transmission bugs after 0.8 update

    I have noticed some manual transmission bugs across all cars, (game not modded), using the gearbox mode select button Q with a manual equipped car not longer changes to "manual" mode, instead just switches between "arcade" and "realistic", you can shift gears in "realistic" mode but it feels odd and clunky

    Also the performance timer with manual cars is useless now because in any mode, the transmission will cut the throttle between shifts effectively cancelling out the 0-60 timer once i reach second gear.

    Apart from that, some menu sluggishness and activating the radial pie menu sometimes causes a slowdown.

    Try this:
    Go to Options > Gameplay. On "Default Gearbox Behavior" select Realistic and uncheck Clutch and Throttle Assistant.

    And BeamNG ruined there own game by limiting the amount of vehicles you can spawn. Like the Pigeon. It just says "Fatal Vehicle Exeption. Please reload the vehicle."

    Clear cache and try safe mode. Also, fatal vehicle exception usually doesn't affect your driving.

    Previously the manual gearbox could be shifted without clutching while at the same time not suffering from any damage at all. It also shifted immediately with no delays whatsoever, which is of course highly unrealistic. Both these issues have been fixed. While you can still shift without clutch, you won't be doing that for long before you'll notice breaking gears ;)
    The old transmission modes have been cleaned up, so now you have "Arcade" and "Realistic". "Realistic" has a few settings available in the Gameplay settings to adjust what it does and what it doesn't. By default it has both a clutch and throttle assistant activated. Play around with these options to see what you like best. :)

    Right, that was the goal... :p Not! The issue has been fixed already and until the next hotifx is released, please check your Gameplay settings and disable the G27 LEDs setting there and make sure that you only report bugs with no mods installed/activated or while playing in safe mode. :)
