I play BeamNG on a Lenovo P400 Touch (Laptop) running on Windows 8.0. And what I find is that the only maps that I can run and 30fps or more are Grid Small Pure and GridMap. For those I would use Low quality but for East Coast USA, Small Island USA, Jungle Rock Island and most of the Utah map. The quality levels are in custom (No Antialiasing, Texture and Mesh on Low and the rest on the lowest setting. What I am asking is if they could make more maps with less tree's, some to no water and smaller to let laptop gamers enjoy the game more than they would. This would help me a lot because low quality is not nice at all.
There are system requirements for a reason. I'm not the one who make choices, but I highly doubt we will sacrifice quality in order to make laptops that are below our minimum requirements able to squish a few FPS more.
Yes, my computer reaches those requirements but I would like to see more maps like GridMap so I could play easier without going into the world editor.
one thing you can try is go in the level editor and set the veiw distance to somthing low like 200 to boost the framerate a bit
Nvidia N13P-GLR/GSR is software. Look here. https://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130720220715AAgYEAG You can download it here https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/olddownloads/ds031585 --- Post updated --- And also, if your running gridmap at 30 fps, you don't meet min requirement. Just accept the fact that your laptop is not powerful enough to run the game.
