I purchased the game a few days ago and noticed the Moonhawk texure wasn't loading properly. I dismissed this as a minor issue, and avoided using the Moonhawk altogether. Rembering this today, I cleared the cache, thinking it would resolve the problem. It didn't. In fact, it made it worse. Now BeamNG claims only one of my dual-core CPU is active and the primary graphics card is the Intel-integrated one, not the NVidia Geforce that was specified. I've reset how many cores are active on my machine, done everything in my knowledge to revert to the NVidia GPU, and even performed a clean reinstall. All of this failed to resolve the issue. I've played other games on my laptop and both CPU cores and the GPU are perfectly operational, but BeamNG simply doesn't recognize this, even though it did a few days ago. The clean re-install redownloaded the glitched Moonhawk textures (probably Steam's problem). Evidently clearing the cache harmed me more than helped me. Now the game is practically unplayable.

    My PC specs:
Intel Core I7 6500U (Dual Core)
    NVidia GeForce 940MX
16 GB of Ram (15.9 GB available)

    Welcome TheOnlyKreator
It seems that my issue has more to do with yours so i will link my post to yours here and continue.

I found out that Beamng is only using 2 of my 4 cores. thats why i only have 12 fps.
i have made some screenshots so the developer know what im talking about:
This one is when i have deactivated vehicle collision in gameplay:
    Zwischenablage01.jpg
    This is when not:
    Zwischenablage02.jpg

I also realized when i started the game my fps was around 12 even when vehicle collision was deactivated.
I had to activate and deactivate it again for it to work.

The 'Clear Cache' button in the game's launcher does not touch anything regarding the game settings (It's not programmed to do so)
Highly unlike that messed with the hardware issue you are having now.

For the dedicated graphics, check this:
    http://wiki.beamng.com/Dedicated_Graphics
(Especially the part where it says to add even the .exe located in the Bin32 and Bin64 folders).
Nvidia Mobile GPUs have similar issues on many others games, the Nvidia Forums are literally flooded with these reports :\

Also, in the main menu press HELP, then go to PERFORMANCE tab. Press ALT+O and copy here the link of the page you get.

This reminds me of Core Parking (Don't ask why, but it's a thing on some Windows versions..) | http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/Disable-CPU-Core-Parking-Utility
    Give it a check.

The graphics card fix works and now the Moonhawk seems to be loading fine. I looked into parked CPU's and have found no fix. It still thinks only one is active when other apps detect both are running

    That's very strange.
It's possible it's just a wrong detection (can happen).
Is your powerplan in ECO mode?

    So...
i downloaded the newest core parking "app" and it kinda worked.
I set it 100% and can play 70 fps now. But the cores are FULLPOWER all the time?! how can i fix that issue then?
Iam not happy with this solution as i dont know what i do here exactly. i thought my super intelligent laptop can change the cpu power as it is needed.
    EDIT:
    Zwischenablage01.jpg
I found out that i dont need this coreparking app...
I will look it up for now but i hope you can help me as well Nadeox1. Thank you by the way. i now know much more about the problem.
    I hope you do too.

Not anymore. It was originally set on HP Recommended, but I changed it to High Performance. After reading KaLul0's post on how to fix CPU usage in the battery settings, I was greeted with only one option under Processor Power Management, not the 3 present in KaLul0's power settings (and everyone else's Windows 10 PC from what I've seen). When I first downloaded the game off of Steam, BeamNG noticed not all cores were running (not as a 'warn' popup). Restarting the PC with both cores active fixed the problem. The possibility remains of a wrong detection.

The power option is probably a problem for Microsoft to sort out, not you guys.

Below are screenshots of my Advanced Power Settings Panel and the glitched Moonhawk texture.

Thanks Nadeox1 for the help on the graphics processor. That issue has been nicely cleaned up

There is a link "change settings that are currently unavailable". What is inside it?

    For the censored Moonhawk:
Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and delete everything. Move everything you do not want to loose somewhere else, and do not put them back until the base game is working fine.
This is probably caused by a broken cache.

That tool changed since I last used it..
What that seems to do now is changing the minimum CPU load before it goes full-power. You set it to 100%, that means it will stay all the time on full load. Please do not do that.
The older version worked in different ways AFAIK.
Also, it seems this 'CPU Park' thing was fixed in some Windows update. Make sure your OS is up to date please.
