    You kinda just supplied your own solution, "doesn't happen when looking straight down". You just have to be very careful when using the flatten tool. If your view angle is too shallow it can easily skip off into the distance damaging a lot of terrain, usually in a straight line. Can happen with any terrain tool especially a map with a lot of ridges like yours. I've had it happen with the paint tool because my viewpoint was lower than the surrounding area.

    You have keep your view angle high and steep especially with the flatten tools. And keep the tool pressure low, so if it does skip off the damage will be minimal.

    Yeah fair enough, kinda regret making that post because I was angry when I did, it is a lot better than it used to be so I'm happy for that. Still finding little circles on my map from when I made it a couple years ago.

    My observation:
    When I spawn vehicle from BeamNG vehicle mod=vehicle doesn't work (has turned off engine) FOREVER!
    When I spawn original BeamNG vehicle and modificate parts to look like a mod vehicle=vehicle engine works
    My question:
    Why is this happening?

    Don't think this was mentioned before, but I am getting an instability error with the T-Series while towing the flatbed trailer after about 20 seconds of driving. It doesn't seem to happen with the other trailers.

    EDIT: Ok, I think I know what is happening: The trailer's landing gear is brushing against the ground, and the tension causes the legs to "explode".

    I haven't played the game in a couple of weeks, but today when I started it up, I got an warning message saying I was running the game on integrated graphics. I followed the instructions to force my graphics card to run this game, but the warning persisted. Is this happening to anyone else?
    The card is a GTX 960M if that's any use.

    EDIT:
    Okay, that's strange. I solved it by going to "Add program" and clicking the executable for BeamNG.drive.

    Now there are 2 applications for BeamNG.drive in the NVIDIA Control Panel...

    No bug here, but a question. Somebody said that there is motion blur in the coding of BeamNG, so why isn't there a button for it?

    Problem with the D15 Solid front axle.
    Node st4 (where tie rod and drag link meet) seems to not stay properly aligned with what would be the tie rod beam. Creates a situation where the steering only works when turning left.
    No beams break, but the st4 node no longer stays attached to the tierod and flops around.

    Seems like mods being enabled, it causes the play button to be greyed out. I'll see wha happens if I remove the "More Features Mod", and I'll report back.

    EDIT: That's exactly what caused it.

    My post here that i have quoted still hasn't been fixed or acknowledged. I'm pretty sure the clutch issue didn't happen in the older versions before 0.8
    (Well except for the edited part. That is known but not the rest.)

    My feedback is about the new drivetrain code.
    While it works admirably (including very unlikely scenarios) my main complains are:
    1. Sparse documentation. Not enough examples are provided to create a real life workflow. There's no mention of the possibility to break the torque tree among different jbeams. Some articles are very synthetic, not descriptive or nonexistent. Besides specification of normal ranges, no explanation is provided for increasing or decereasing values.
    2. We are lacking some components. Electrical engines, that could be used for a whealth of applications besides being viable prime movers, are not included in the new code. The documentation says nothing about running an engine in reverse and specifies you need some form of clutch after the engine. Most electric motors wouldn't need this.

    I was looking at the transmission of the ETK 6000 truck to make it work by the new standards, but I couldn't find any documentation about transfer cases and was stuck there. If they work like manual gearboxes, could the wiki be edited to say "refer to the manualgearbox documentation"?

    Yes, there probably are. One would be the launcher; BeamNG.drive.exe, and the other would be the actual game; BeamNG.drive.x86/64.exe.

    Using the GeForce on the launcher would do nothing for the actual game.

    Do you have the VarietyMod or Djploppers mod pack installed?.

    If you have VarietyMod, uninstall it and wait for an update. If you have Djploppers mod pack, there is an update out. Uninstall the modpack, then reinstall it from the repo.

    Just a random question: When I press V to turn the car off, it comes up "Engine is off, restarting" and then the engine shuts off then turns back on later. Why does this happen?

    Because that's how it works. I presume that you are in "arcade" gear shifting mode. In that case it's normal. If the engine somehow turns off in that mode the game will automatically restart the engine again.
    If you want to have the engine turn off completely without restarting you'll have to change to the "realistic" gear shifting mode where you shift yourself.

    Anyone acknowledge both? Or some important possible bugs were just skipped like nothing happened ;)
