On my old Pentuim Dual Core E6700 @3.2ghz which is a LGA 775 CPU Btw. it runs a T75 at 70FPS!!. With collisions turned on! I remember not too long ago it struggled with a covet at 40fps. Congrats Devs!
Yes , as written here: http://www.beamng.com/threads/0-8-0-1-discussion-feedback-bugs-reporting-thread-read-1-post.33989/
Wow, I'm shocked a wolfdale 45nm core-2 class chip runs it that fast. Really shocked. Good job I guess! Seems like the new optimizations have been a blessing for core2 and 1st gen i7 chips, but a bane to the AMD FX series users a bit (that doesn't include the hotfix as per the AMD comment).
Agreed! Running an HD 5730 1gb GPU and an i7 Q720 while my main PC is in the shop at it can run BeamNG on medium at around 30 FPS. Beautiful job devs!
Yeah, with the time it's clear that beamng is a lot better optimized than before. But I guess you can't run more that two cars. I had a lower end pentium but close to, it was OK with one car (30-35fps), not really with 2 (20-25) and totally unplayable with 3 (10-15)
its my grandparents PC so i dont have access to it, my own is an i5 4690k build, and im going to switch the GPU on that Pentuim dual core pc from a GT610 to GTX750 since i have one that i married up to a Q6600
