Welp. A few weeks ago I went and ordered those Vmoda M100's I mentioned earlier. I ordered them since I went on a trip to Poland and wanted some good portable headphones to take along. Of course they arrived a few hours after we left to the airport... But I'm back now and I've finally gotten them. They're awesome so far. I also got the boom mic cable, and larger ear pads. (the stock ear pads are terrible) They look like this:
Med-El Sonnet cochlear implants. [I know, they're not headphones.] Well worth the price tag of $6,000 for someone who hasn't properly heard stuff since 2004.
call me stupid, but the headphones im using are a pair of David Reimer hs300d headphones from the mid 1970's, they have a large type connector, so I have next to my laptop a Denon dn720r Cassette deck/recorder that I have turned on with a cassette in it set to Record-pause, my laptop is plugged into the mic line using a headphone-RCA converter, my volume control is the input level on the tape deck EDIT: if it makes you feel any better, both components were free and I actually use my computer to Record cassettes because I like them unironically. also when im not using my headphones (which have great quality btw) I have some Altec lansing 5.1 speakers from about 1999 that I unboxed new last month, also free
ayyyyyy I've got the same ones, they're great, but I like wireless headphones better. Those headphones are now dedicated to my computer and xbox while I use these for other things: https://www.amazon.com/Cancelling-W...TF8&qid=1483236178&sr=1-3&keywords=headphones Very good value for the money, and really comfortable as well. Would recommend.
Koss Stratus. I'd usually get cheap crappy ones before I got these, so these are the best headphones I've had so far. I really do like them.
