Not until 1986. So I guess he could just call this an 84-85 model. No more coupe after 1986 I suppose. Edit-Ninja'd
You are right but I still think it would be really cool to have it as an add-on option. The coupe can have a standard brake light located behind the window just like the sedan. Edit: Also bear in mind that manufacturers didn't touch the convertible body style for years due to safety standards, so the LeGran convertible could've taken more time to develop compared to the Sedan and Coupe versions, making 3rd brake lights mandatory right from the start of production. @synsol You may also want to take a look at this Happy bug fixing
[torque-steer intensifies] Is it me or is that custom bumper from the Covet? It just looks quite familiar.
I love this mod! I think every vehicle in the game deserves body variants! From the coupe I'm getting a real Monte Carlo vibe, which reminded me that this crazy homologation version:
Thank you it's fixed now (1.02 update) It is a modified one Fixed, sorry for my "Franglish" I don't get the issue here, and i don't see who are "cheap people" ... You may mixed two thing , those car are more economical , cause lighter with smaller engine , but economical doesn't mean to not have coupe / convertible version :
synsol updated Bruckell LeGran Coupe & Convertible (and many new parts) with a new update entry: Fixed Tow Hitch and Sport presets color Read the rest of this update entry...
i think that such a tuning car deserves custom wheels with yellow body paint instead of chromes, what do you think ? And some post-release WIP stuff for those who could be interested, the cabrio rear panel. Great fun to give a hand on such a nice mod
The mod is amazing and all but, does this come with a tram vehicle or something? after installing this mod and making sure I didn't accidentally get anything else, I somehow ended up with a tram in my game?
Not dumb at all. --- Post updated --- The tram is included in the Crash Junctions mod. Do you have that installed? Does the tram appear as "streetcar" in the vehicle selector with no thumbnails?
Oh. I don't have much knowledge of those cars from that time period so I was thinking it was the prius of the time. I mean by cheap people because if its economy car, it's gotta be affordable (not all the time). After all, I get 25-27 MPG. I didn't even know the Legran was based off the Calais coupe. I guess you learn something new everyday. Thanks Synsol
Those cars were economy cars comparing to the previous 350 or 305 V8 engines, but are still suffering from gluttony comparing to nowadays cars .
Buicks and Oldsmobiles were the Lexus and Acuras of their time. It wasn't until the '80s and '90s models aged and hit the secondhand market that they were perceived as rubbish. To be fair, the Buicks and Oldsmobiles did age slightly better than their Chevy and Pontiac siblings (most likely because the first owners of Oldsmobiles and Buicks took more care of their cars than the first owners of Chevys and Pontiacs).
Well, most of them were available with poorly geared transmissions and/or bought with weird combinations of options (OD/automatics/big AC units on 90HP 4-cylinders, "small" V6s with low torque....etc). If you accept slug-like acceleration and keeping it @ 55, their numbers were not bad. Lol
