The "Intersection 2" scenario seems impossible to fail. Even driving the red Sunburst provided to the player directly into the nearest wall, and staying far back from the only checkpoint results in a victory (presumably because the blue Sunburst is destroyed when it lands its own jump.) Now that I think of it, an "Intersection 3" scenario, in which the player attempts to destroy a caravan without damaging the car towing it, could be very entertaining!
The UI gets very laggy (to the point of being unusable) after some time of playing quickplay events, I haven't tested if it happens anywhere else. (The rest of the game, graphics, physics, etc. seem to be fine) no mods, cleared cache. i5-4690k GTX 1070 16 GB ram Windows 10
1. If an automatic vehicle's drive tires are unsupported and spinning then the transmission is put into park the drivetrain freaks out a little bit. Easiest to replicate this by flipping a car over and putting it in drive to get the wheels spinning then putting it in park. 2. The Sunburst's interior dash lighting is on when the car is first spawned then off when it is reset and stays off until the brakes are used or one of the electronic assists are activated.
Alright, found a strange issue. The checkpoints on the High Speed Highway scenario are not working correctly for me. Checkpoint 3 fails to register passing through it half the time, and checkpoint 4 refuses to work even if I crawl through it at a low speed. I cleared cache, verified integrity, removed all of my mods and attempted to reinstall the game and nothing fixed it. It's the only scenario/quickplay event I've played where I've had this problem so far. Tried it with competitive scenarios on and off as well. Edit: Here's a video with the glitch at 28 seconds in as I try to run the scenario. I did this one in the Sunburst Hill Climb as a challenge for someone, but same thing happened in the scenario default SBR4 too.
Burnside has some vibration in the frame or suspension, which I am guessing is not intended. It is particularly noticeable with the body removed, and certain engine / tire configurations. The default 'Custom Burnside' seems to show this most, but most other configurations are affected to some degree. The vibration also sometimes affects parts of the body and the camera - since they are all attached to the frame.(new camera nodes may have made this more noticeable too...) Removing both left and right exhaust pipes seemed to give improvements(?) I hacked a 'fix' by adding 2 beams, from the rear corners of frame, to rear leaf shackles - but then lose movement in the shackles. Tested and confirmed on fresh install, no mods, clean cache and all that. Just to be sure. Not trying to be a, pain in the rear Hope this helps, only to make awesome, more awesome.
Great work on the awesome update! I really enjoy quickracing, and the new paint system is really something! Bugs I've found: -ETK 800 Driving Experience config, 200 Kg Crate have no preview image. -When switching between two vehicles both with the headlights turned on, sometimes the dashboard lights will not work on the vehicle you switch to, unless you cycle between light modes. Noticed on old Pessima, T-series -The Canyon Trial scenario in the Rocky Start Campaign does not always load properly: On my first attempt, there was no countdown, and the reset button didn't fix it. I had to restart the whole campaign due to this issue. -Some cars' paintjobs aren't working with the new system. *(I won't count police/taxi/driving school ones): ====Pigeon (Flames) ====200bx (Blastr, Nomi) ====ETK I series (Basso) ====Old Pessima (rally, custom decals) ====Civetta (racing graphics) I got no mods turned on.
Cars don't start again after running out of fuel and changing the fuel value in the console? Using this code: "energyStorage.getStorage('mainTank'):setRemainingVolume(0)" then changing to a positive value and it still doesn't start.
the R light on the 80s pessima only comes on if you have the headlights on, all other gear positions are fine
no, the R light, it only works when the headlights are on, and if you go into another gear with the gear in anything other than R then its fine, but R stays there if headlights are on
Ah, mine wasn't meant as a reply to the issue you reported, but rather another unrelated issue I've encountered. Sorry!
I don't think I checked to see if this was possible in the 0.7 update, but in 0.8's Senseless Destruction: Cannon, you're able to move and fire the cannon before starting the event. You can time this with the countdown and end up with a time of 00:00.00 seconds.
