For some reason (I'm thinking it's with the new transmission simulation) the Burnside Special, Gavril Grand Marshal, Bruckell Moonhawk, and all but one configuration of the Gavril T-series just don't work. They rev but they just do not move. I have tried different transmission modes to manually put it in drive, but they just don't move. Also, the textures for the headlights and taillights of vehicles such as the Gavril H series, Ibishu Pigeon, and the trailers like the Caravan, oil tanker, and dry van trailers are missing. They light up but are orange with the words "NO texture" on them. Imho most destructive update that has came to be.
Not sure about the Transmission, but try this for your headlight textures! Go to Documents then BeamNG Drive, then find "Cache 0.8.0.1" and open the folder. Delete every file inside of it. Then close the Windows Explorer and open BeamNG Drive. I had this problem with the pigeon a few updates ago, and this fixed it.
Always disable mods before reporting bugs. The easiest way to do that is to launch the game in safe mode in the launcher.
All vehicles work over ever. Your issue are more likely caused by mods if you were using them (Like in 70% of the bug reports we receive) Do as said above. Disable your mods. If problem persists, move out your mods and delete entirely the Documents/BeamNG.Drive folder. Do not put your mods back until you checked the base game is working fine.
the third gear on the 2400i is pretty weak the 2nd too. i was doing uphill on descent road and the equiped transmition was the 6 speed race one. and i was driving hard and i was using the clutch propely. maybe just get those gear a little more resistant
Check the reply I gave you in your thread about this. Just an fyi mod errors shouldn't be reported in this thread either.
After you close the game, sometimes it happens that the process of BeamNG.drive.x64.ui does not close and takes a lot of RAM, between 200 MB to 1.5 GB. It can also happen that after exiting the game, gets a window error BeamNG.drive.x64.ui.
One thing that I love about this update is that even on my laptop, yes laptop! Can run all these cars, and the game is still at a perfectly playable FPS. Its really good. Only thing that lags badly is the UI.
I think the Pigeon with stabilizers shows the speed incorrectly. When the car is going 40 mph, the gauge shows 40 kph, which translates to 24 mph.
Yup. Pretty sure this issue has been in the game for some time. The tacho just takes the speed of every wheel and then calculates the average. This is annoying in this case because it isn't realistic that it calculates the stabilizer wheel speeds too. If you get the airspeed app you'll always see the most exact and correct speed for any vehicle.
You need to enable the option to show custom configurations in the vehicle selector. You can find it in Options > User Interface
