BeamNG drive has come a long way in the 2 years that I have had it. I was able to test the new version on an older computer that my friend has, and this game is just astounding. Remember when it was a big deal that you could have 2 of the same car spawned up and in different colors? How about when the Gavril Roamer was just a conceptual thing? Now, it is almost to a 1.0 version, and I am excited to see what other things the developers have in store for BeamNG.drive.

I remember when I could only run one car on ECUSA with 45 fps. Now I can run 2 cars on that map with 60 fps.

I got the game when I Joined the Forums, so I don't remember that playing the game, but I do remember the Car Delership pictures of every car.

I remember the days of 0.3.0 and 0.3.1... I was so impressed I bought it on the day of release I remember saying "wow this is a huge improvement over RoR".

Beam has come a long way and it still continues to impress.

I wish I still had my forum account from 2012, don't know what happened to it though.

I bought it the day it came out. I signed up for an account as soon as someone linked this site on the RoR forums.

I still remember the pre-race update hype to.

I'm actually still puzzled if BeamNG is related in any way to RoR, its the same thing on steroids!

Me too, I made my forum account back around day one when it first went into alpha and I have no idea why I can't access it anymore.

I still remember having the settings on Lowest and it running at 720p while getting BARELY 20fps in game while on an old worfdale processor I use to have, now I am on ultra settings getting about 60fps at 1080p on my Haswell-E processor :) man times have changed! going from Dual core with 4GB DDR2 and a 3870 then 3870X2 then finally a 5770 to an Octo-core with 32GB DDR4 with a GTX980Ti thats what I call improvement for me :)

I remember when there was no campaign mode and there were fewer cars. I think the first car to come out since I started playing was the Burnside Special. I started playing BeamNG on December 25, 2015, so fairly recent. I am aware of 2013-2014 BeamNG.drive through YBR videos, it does look quite primitive compared to the BeamNG.drive of today (or even late 2015)
