I playing with the barstow, and i put off the front subframe, and i can remotely control the engine. What if there is an AWD and a FWD varyant of it, so we can plying with it remotely? sorry, bad english.
The Oldsmobile Toronado and Cadillac Eldorado were FWD, although the barstow would not make sense as FWD as it's a pure sports car (whereas the Toronado and Eldorado were more personal luxury cars, hence the use of FWD presumably for easier handling and more interior space)
Who gives a flying damn if it makes sense, this is BeamNG... Literally the only game that sets no boundries on vehicles. If he wants an awd muscle car, then why the hell not? I want one now too!
AWD =/= better handling. It'll be better power delivery but if anything it'll handle worse due to the extra weight
I'd mostly just want a front wheel drive barstow and the mod that allows drag tires on the front, put the stage 4 SC in the 14 inch wide rims on all wheels, put the hand brake on and see if I could tear it in half like that...
Ken Blocks AWD '65 mustang is awesome, I sure wouldn't mind an AWD Barstow if its anything like that!
Simple, unrealistic (and most likely sh*t) drivetrain tutorial Step 1: find this code (it's located in the differential properties, found in the rear suspension jbeam) ["differential", "differential_R", "driveshaft", 1, {"diffType":"open", "gearRatio":2.83, "friction":8}] Step 2: change "differential_R" to "differential_F" *note - for 4WD, do this: ["differential", "differential_F", "driveshaft", 1, {"diffType":"open", "gearRatio":2.83, "friction":8}] ["differential", "differential_R", "driveshaft", 1, {"diffType":"open", "gearRatio":2.83, "friction":8}] Step 3: ???? Step 4: Profit.
that "mustang" probably has about as many similarities to the actual 1965 mustangs as a NASCAR has to the car its "based" on.
The point I don't think an AWD Barstow config would be useless; I sure wouldn't mind one. Edit: http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/12/the-hoonicorn-rtr-build-story/ Article by Vaughn Gittin Jr. on the build. Underneath, is a tube frame chassis. I still don't see that as challenging my point; an AWD 800HP (or 1400HP twin turbo like the V2 Hoonicorn ) would be a fun config in this physics simulator game.
