Internet speeds.

No idea what my dad pays for but Cox has increased the download speed by like 6 MBPS recently. Upload same as always.

 

Pretty standard for me, the ping is better than usual though.

 

This is my one in my bedroom in my dads office I get about 60 to 70 Mbits down and like 20 up

But I am very happy with this speed I use to get around 8Mbit up with Praying and the odd Human sacrifice to my old Router xD (Sorry...bad joke!)

Because here in England, they make the fast people faster and couldn't give a damn about anyone else. This is one of the best results I have ever had.

Jealous of you guys. At my dads right now so can't give you a speedtest for at home, but to get even 200kb/s (not a typo, that is roughly 0.2mb/s yes) would be a damn good day.


(imported from here) is my dads, but at this moment in time there are 4 people using the internet which does seem to impact the result. Also I am on wifi not ethernet cable, dads mac on ethernet gets about 20 down.

School has tons of surplus bandwidth since it also hosts data for all the K-12 districts in the state. Helps that there are only about ~1000 students living on campus.

My DL should be 4,00 mb/s, and my ping should be 20-30 (I was connected to plug.dj at the moment)

 

My day time DL is sub 0.2, although steadily improving as more people in a nearby village move to fiber.

 

I've seen my download speed at 10kbps and a ping of 9500 once before
