Probably I don't know all nuances about 3D models for games and reflections, but there is really some reflection bugs on the Burnside (I understand that Cryengine3 and Ogre are completely different Game Engines) but I would really like to know, what causing those "gremlins" in reflections, like shown on the screenshot below. Maybe it's because of "verts" lined up badly, or something else?

    P.S.
Gabester, this post aimed not on offending you like a 3DArtist, but to find out more, about how to create High Qality content for games, and how to avoid some problems, which 3DArtist can face with.

Probably because the mesh wasn't smooth and the triangulation wasn't all oriented correctly. That model is really old.

Ahh crap, in this preparations to the new 2013 year, I mostly forgot to ask, when you exporting your models to the game, you triangulating them before export, or Game Engine will do it for you? Like Mythbuster have mentioned above, that Game Engines always render models triangulated. As some people know, I am working on some Race Track for Banger Racing "Foxhall Stadium Raceway", and Demolition Derby Arena (Fiction), and I exporting my meshes not triangulated, and in SDK they are still as quads, with to everybody known endless signs "Replace Me - Replace Me - Replace Me". But it's SDK not the Beamng's Game. As far as I know, you've changed alot in CryEngine3, maybe even mesh exporting process.

Everyone who wants to make custom content is best off making assets at this stage.

Unfortunately due to problems with the tire model it's rather undrivable. I think I've gotten it past 120 mph before losing control horribly and crashing. Theoretically it should be capable of around 170. It has a small V8 making just under 300 horsepower, and it weighs about 2900 pounds.

We will be replacing this tire model with a better one soon, which will hopefully make this thing drive well.

Ah that kind of sucks, in regards to it not being driveable. As far as the speed goes, that sounds pretty swell. Hopefully with a new tire model you'll be able to send it around banked corners at a fairly high speed. One question though, with the current tire model, is it undrivable at all, or is it only at high rates of speed? Are you using precise inputs (Wheel+Pedal) or rough inputs? Do you think that would also be effecting the handling?

That looks absolutely incredible. The lights in the bumper really finish the front end, I couldn't have imagined it would turn out as good as it has! Shame about the current driveability, but knowing what you guys have achieved, I have full trust that it'll get fixed with the new tire model. The rims look great too honestly. That whole car just looks sick.

Judging by the damaged pic the headlights don't "hinge" open, do they just slide up instead? Cause that's pretty nifty :)

I feel like it would be cool to have one of those huge Detomaso Pantera/Countach spoilers as an option extra... Also, maybe a badge, centered in the rear grille, or just "Civetta"/"Bolide" spelled out? Looks a bit empty at the moment.

Looks great, it reminds me of the early 80's Ferraris and I bet it would look good in red :O

LOL, but a car has to be driveable :p And Gabe, the funny thing is, I have said 'It would be great to have updated screenshots of the Civetta' yesterday! And now this! Huge thanks!

Using a controller with analog inputs. It's drivable if I use less than 2/3 throttle. Under full acceleration it just completely overwhelms the tires, no matter the speed.

Hm, that's strange. Hopefully the new tire model will definitely allow you to full throttle. You don't think a steering wheel and pedal would change this?
