AMD FX 6100 VS Intel Core i3 6100 Which one? Can the Skylake i3 handle BeamNG without any FPS drop?
I currently have a FX-6100 overclocked to 4.5ghz on air with a thermaltake cooler. And, as for the AMD CPU's Bulldozer design, Can I convert my 3 physical 6 virtual cores to 3 physical cores instead? Because of the design, AMD FX 6 series CPUs has 3 physical bulldozer cores and they split that 3 cores into 6 virtual cores (like Intel's hyperthreading and also this is why AMD's single core performance is bad.) Can people do use 3 cores(every physical core as 1 core) of this CPU? If people can do this, AMD CPUs can go well for gaming. And, help me... Can I run 4 oldsfullsize cars together without frame drops in BeamNG? My friend says intel CPU's are unbeatable and keeps saying intel f***s AMD you are s*** you are an AMD user. I almost had a fight with him. And, please tell me is it true? Can a i3 6100 handle 4 oldsfullsize mod cars without drop? Is it that perfect? If it is, I will buy it. But don't recommend me a i5 or i7. I'm too poor for this kind of tech. And, if I Overclock a i3 6100 to 4.4-4.5ghz can I get closer to a i5 low end skylake? (I know, i3 is a dual-core CPU. Year is 2017 and still dual cores gets manifactured as brand new, good job intel keep scr** us up.)

i lost brain cells reading that

    I don't agree,
Ryzen is coming within a month, and I think that that will shake up the CPU market, so he can better wait for a low end 4-core ryzen if that is on par with the new kaby-lakes, or a intel which will probably be cheaper then. Or buy a used CPU.

2nd hand electronics is not trustable in my country. Only 2nd hand will be a GPU (because its way too expensive in my country.) (I live in turkey and, 1$ = 3.86₺ (Turkish Lira) 1€ = 4.12₺ so, an average monthly salary is 2000₺ per employee. A grown up employee must work 2 months without eat, drink and rent (or bills) for a i7 6700k cpu and gtx 1070 gpu. (And I'm a student so expect a lot much lower money i have. The money i can spend is around 100-150$. I just want to upgrade my PC's gpu because I have to buy a gamebook for my needs next year. And, is it possible to use a FX 6100 as a 3 core cpu? And, do you recommend a i3 6100 for playing this game? My CPU only creates problem in this game, not in others. (Well, mafia 3 too :) but that game is unoptimized.) Can i turn my 6 virtual cores 3 physical cores to 3 physical cores?

AMD is better, I happen to have an older laptop. I compared performance with an old game I have, on 2 different laptops with similar specs from the same era, one has a Pentium 3 processor, and the other has a AMD Athlon 4. The AMD computer ran the game at about 30 fps, while the Pentium 3 computer only ran it at about 20 fps.

Removing the three virtual cores would just make the fps lower.

You have 6 cores in three sets of two cores. So you don't have 3 real and 3 virtual cores. AMD doenst even have that (on the market yet)
So you cant disable them and have to run with your old CPU with 6 cores and not super good specs.

So I think when the ryzen comes out, People will throw i3 and bulldozer cpus. And AMD Bulldozer CPUs are actually 4 cores 8 threads in design. 6 cores are 3 core 6 thread. And i will ask something. Can I go over 4.5 ghz in air?

    AMD has no multi threading.
It has a core diveded in parts. With on every part 2 physical cores so it has 3*2=6 cores.
    Not 3 cores with 2threads!

Why can't we put 2 cores together to double the single core performance?

I get decent performance. On Beam, with my GPU< I can get good FPS on Utah. I'd give it a 8.5/10. On budget, its well priced.

AMD Zen will kick Intel's Ass, it will bring Intel like single core performance with 8 cores being mainstream now.
