Drink some protien shakes then. It doesnt take much tension or a pull of the handbrake to stop a car from rolling down a hill. (Yes i do realise you are taking the piss)
Ah, this brings memories of a truck a friend of mine used to have. it was a early 90's half ton Chevy, bit of a piece of shit, I forget the year, just that it was a square dash GMT400 platform half ton 4wd. Originally it had a 4.3, and being a 4.3, it was awful. We pulled it out, and he let it sit for a couple weeks and eventually threw a half dead 350 in there. But while he had the trans out, (An NV3500) he had the shift tower off, and apparently he lost the little plastic guides before he put it back in there. I learned this when we were cutting firewood at another friend's place. I hopped in his truck to go back to house to get something to drink, and found it had 6 neutrals, you only new when it was in a gear by trying to take off, couldn't find first, I could find reverse and what I assumed to be third, but It was drivable-ish. He hops in it and drives it like there is nothing wrong. And on the parking brake thing, I've only ever owned two vehicles with functioning parking brakes, you make do without, Automatic? Put it in park, Manual? Leave it in gear. Ta-Da. Also, here's the hot rod in question.
Yeah I am, lol. Personally I always like to feel that last little click, just to know it's at max lock. And I love the sound and feel of that little ratchet. I also like to play Mei in overwatch so I guess I'm just a horrible person.
