OH, the D series cab fits on all frames, allowing some cool stuff! Gfycat Video - Click to Play - Direct Link Recorded in 100x slow mo, sped up to 1/2 slowmo, as at realtime it's too fast to see what's going on. EDIT: A bit more, I got the truck to 102 mph around the corners by cheesing to higher gravity, and setting it to default right when I started recording.
I've got a quick question for you. I installed the mod and the customizable engines mod, and the truck wont spawn. The camera just goes to the sky and the truck never comes to fruition. Is this mod compatible with .8? Is this an issue with the customizable engines mod?
The customizable engines mod became outdated with the last update, so that's most likely your problem
No, they're gone. I've seen every engine in this mod. (I tweaked it, and added mini versions of every turbo, and every version of the rear engine for the front. Because engine.)
Thanks for confirming. Are you sure you dont have an old version? The customizable engines are removed so i dont know why you have them.
I would need to make the 6 lug wheels available. and they would look a bit small i think on the t series lol. I could try to make my own but im not that good at making wheels already lol. Possibility in the future tho.
Right after I posted that, I realized that you had released an update, and problem solved! I must say, great mod! Though I do have one criticism, being that the torque converter on the automatic transmission is too aggressive, and will stall the truck when trying to do a boosted launch. The engine config files are a little messy on my computer, so I'm not able to see if this is a bug on my end or a tuning issue. Just thought I'd bring that to your attention.
I didnt make the engine since im not that good with that stuff. But thanks for bringing it to my attentions. Thanks!
Okay, I managed to decipher the .jbeam, and it appears that the automatics are using a lockup type torque converter. Since this is a diesel, that means peak torque is reached early, and I'd be willing to bet that the converter is locking up too early and is causing the motor to stall as a result. I'll play around with it some and see what I can cook up...
