I think it would greatly benefit the game if the maps were not empty of any life. Now I'm not thinking about wildlife, but ai traffic: cars, trains, ships. That are not simulated by the physics engine until you actually hit them, until then they would travel around predefined routes, maybe with basic obstruction detection and pathfinding (so they wouldn't run into everything, and also wouldn't stop if an object only just reaches into their path)
There is a russian train mod that might come out sometime... Though if they would add support for things like that, it would be nice, and maybe create a map themselves with trains for users who can't download mods...
Although, the trains and cars require low quality. Spawning 4 cars even in the mightiest computers takes the tax. But this is a great idea! It is just that BeamNG authors need to be singular about this. This game is no longer on the top. Of course, the community still lives and will for long, but I highly doubt the creators would take much of time in this game anymore. Financial problems always need to be taken into account, editing their whole product and adding a larger quantity of scripts into levels. But, I don't exactly understand the level of scripting in the levels. Nevertheless, I still believe they need to cultivate the whole script in order to, how can I say, adapt? Statefan mentioned the mod that is coming out. That was 4 years ago. I would have surely heard of it. Maybe it didn't work out? And I just noticed this post had been dead for a long time, haha.
