Seemingly custom-built 486 PC. That's the only thing I can remember about it, as it isn't in my house right now but is in our small storage unit from when we moved to a smaller house.
A 2007 HP Pavilion dv-6000. Installed Linux on it a few days ago, surprisingly it runs pretty well. As for specs: GPU: Nvidia 8400m GS CPU: AMD Turion x64 RAM: 2GB DDR2 (lol) And some 16:10 TN display Has a great keyboard though, wish they installed those on modern laptops. I even find in better to write than my desktop keyboard.

2002 Compaq Presario 6000 with Windows XP Home Premium and an Intel Pentium 4. It was a beauty and it's performance was greater than most other PC's during it's time period. Came with a CRT monitor as well, and boy was the circuitry 100% analog.

Depends. Was your Miracle Machine stolen around 2008? That was the rig that really got me into gaming. I found Rigs of Rods while doing a middle school report on aircraft, so my uncle sold me his extra parts for cheap so I could get a rig that played games better than the aforementioned P4. RoR led to GTA, to Battlefield, to Cod, Skyrim, Minecraft, and 10's of thousands of hours of my time wasted Haven't been active enough the past few years to know inside references, so I hope you don't mind me asking, what was your Miracle Machine?
It was an upgraded Dell XPS 400. It had a Pentium D 820, 4GB RAM, and an 8800GT from a Mac. The boot loader was on a PATA HDD, with Windows on a SATA one, because my incompetent self failed when upgrading from XP. That led to several minute long boot times. I was a rather obscure member of this community while I had it, so I'm not surprised if few people recognize it.
