lol, no, whoever had that problem, is most likeley an idiot, ive never had a problem with chrome, viruses can get through any web browser's security, however, if you dont go to shady sites, then you wont get a virus in the FIRST PLACE, and, if you have a decen anti-virus, then even if you do get one, it shouldnt be on your pc long enough to mess with stuff - - - Updated - - - hmmm, strange, whats your isp, they may block it for some reason
How do I take screen shots? Every time I try to take a screen shot it pop's up a message saying " you need to save you're tuning first"?

Code: Example: a very common browser jacker (search protect by Conduit) gets distrobuted by semi reliable sites which offer free to download software like cnet and softpedia, to help cover their ad costs. It is a part of the whole underground search engine optimization thing, by presenting you with questionable ads as well as modifying your previous search data to give certain sites preference. Chrome and IE were the only two browsers it successfully jacked, and in Chrome one of the ads it presented was able to generate a wonderful un-killable message box to which I could only click agree. After pulling the plug on my test system I got the same ad to run in both FF and Opera, neither of them were able to present the message box. IE showed the box, but killing it was easy. Tried again in Chrome just to be sure, got the same result: un-closeable message box. Concluson: Chrome can be easily jaked by a webpage without downloading anything. (SP by Conduit may have directed me to this ad, but the message box itself was generated by the ad hosting site.) EDIT@below Code: Adblock and noscript are available for most browsers I've tried. And yes, I did try to kill it with task manager and command prompt. The 3 fingered salute brought up task manager, but it couldn't be used. Same for command prompt. The fact this was able to happen in the first place, however, is an example of why I dislike Chrome so much. I shouldn't NEED plugins to prevent a webpage from being able to tap directly into Windows' message box function is my point. Also, there's no excuse whatsoever that Chrome corrupts my tablet so frequently. I only use my tablet for these forums, and if you consider this site shady... well, this is the internet. I can't do anything about that, can I? To each his/her own. But I can tell you that before Chrome replaced this device's default browser I never had a problem. I personally suspect Chrome is causing a memory leak, but I can't force quit it because oh system level app hurr durr. Nor does shutting it down truly shut it down and dump the memory like it used to before the Google update. The only way to dump the memory now is to run the battery all the way down. You may very well be right, but I'll admit that after bad experience after bad experience, backstab after backstab with Google's services (the most recent of which being giving shallow, barely relevant G+ based search results priority over more relevant non-G+ results to make it seem as though G+ is more important than it is), I don't trust them to do anything right anymore, and changing that opinion is something I feel only Google can do, we may as well stop arguing and derailing the thread. Ontopic: The fact someone was able to do this in a web browser is really impressive, but doesn't particularly pique my interest as I've always felt cars look best in stock form. Now, if we could drive them in a realistic (ofc not to the level of BNG or RoR), non-laggy sense...
that person, as i said, is probably an idiot, and has no common sense, ive never had a problem with chrome, never had a SIGNLE, virus, AND, ive tried hacking through many browser's security, including Firefox, and its just as easy as it is with chrome and ie, honestly though, there's another thing with chrome, ADBLOCK, and noscript, boom, now scripts cant run, seriously though, chrome has no more problems that any other browser also, as for closing stuff, Task Manager or, Fkill or whatever it is in command line for example, lets say notepad wont close: Code: C:\WINDOWS\system32>taskkill /im notepad.exe SUCCESS: Sent termination signal to the process "notepad.exe" with PID 6696.
lol, ive always had problems similar to what this guy is getting, BEFORE, installing chrome, so either he's not very smart, very very unlucky, or got a corrupted install, as chrome wont even let me go to shady websites, also, as for g+, seriously? your using g+? facebook and twitter are both way better then g+
Pretty interesting, I think many of the car models are taken from Forza Motorsport. Also wheel selection is pretty.. not much wheels I like. And selecting the wheels is slow and.. you know. Anyways, few pics. (imported from here) (imported from here)
Rant of rantiness, don't read if you don't want to. Not contributing to the thread. \|/ Code: I don't use G+, but I felt that Google threw their "Don't be evil" motto out the window when they started giving G+ related results like G+ profiles and webpages with synced G+ profiles extra weight in their search algorithm (www.google.com) to artificially inflate the importance of their service, thus screwing the end user into getting worse results just because Google wants to make more money. Whether or not the G+ related features are weighted more than the keywords the user inputs is still up to debate. Also, the forcing of SafeSearch on their users without a way to disable it other than by including extremely obscene sexual phrases in the search term has made it much more difficult to find medical articles and documents related to human anatomy. (I'm taking health this year). This choice in and of itself is fine, but the fact that they blatantly lie to their users and tell them it's been disabled even though it will be forever stuck on the moderate setting once again disposes of their mantra, not to mention foisting your opinion (in this case what is obscene or offensive) on another person without giving them the ability to say "I don't agree with your opinion!" may be considered evil by some. Also, updating their Android TOS to allow them to push out patches whenever they like W/O my agreement, and then not asking me to re-agree to the modified TOS and then using this change to strip away most of my apps and replace them with their own (incredibly unstable) versions while the device was "OFF" (not sleeping, although it apparently still was) and I was away on vacation felt like another backstab. Also, if you have a Google account and haven't been extremely vigilant as to what those prompt messages say from time to time on their sites, they've probably tricked you, and have tricked many, many other people into making a G+ account to artificially boost the number of people on the service, once again betraying the "don't be evil" mantra. I'm kind of fed up with them, and I find the fact that I've rarely seen their software NOT destroy a system is as good venting spot as any. Like I've said, I doubt anyone but Google themselves will be able to change my opinion at this point, we may as well stop arguing over this and derailing the thread. Actually, come to think of it... Ontopic: The most disgusting vehicle I think I can make with this program:
just found this, shows that chrome actually beats all web browser's in terms of security, so whoever the person is that has problems with chrome, is really really stupid, or really really unlucky, also, in the video, chrome takes 4 milllisecs to load, this person has something wrong, or choce an insanley slow hdd, as it literally, only takes a millisecond to load for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fAaWoqBWieY#t=151 OT: lol, double spoiler jet engine lowerd 2010 tarus, SO UGLY
