Can you also reduce the amount of visible exhaust smoke? The amount the truck is spitting out now is unrealistic imo.
i'm not sure whether to call myself lucky or not, but i haven't ever been able to get any radiator damage. should happen when you roll over forwards or something, with the end result looking something like this:
Radiator is in the back, and very difficult to damage. It's integral with the spaceframe, so it can't "break" but can deform, causing coolant leakage and reduced cooling efficiency. --- Post updated --- I'm going to upload an updated Grave Digger later, which will include all the new features implemented in the main mod (powertrain and wheels update, engine thermals, transport wheels, RII lights, tow hitch, flag, ...). While I was at it, I took the chance to tweak the damage thresholds for a few components in the suspension system (strengthening) and tone down the smoke effect coming out of the exhaust headers. Eventually, these changes might make their way to the main mod. Feedback very appreciated. --- Post updated --- Here it is. Test away and let me know!
Are one of the things that's stronger the flag? It feels like its harder to knock off, which I like. Actually can go off a jump without it flying off.
XD why does G.D's seem so much stronger? --- Post updated --- I like the new smoke. It's not as overwhelming.
Very excited to try this strengthened truck, been working a lot on suspension tuning and trying to get the truck to land more like they actually do, but was breaking suspension parts way too easily.
Dang, With the transport wheels it fits so good but the brakes, or whatever they are, are sticking out. anyway you can make them go away when you enable the transport wheels?
Known issue. Those are planetary hubs. They're just props - the central hub node would stick out of the wheel profile otherwise - so they have no actual functionality. Reference picture I used when I designed our transport wheels: Maybe I could try to make them stick out a little less, but that could potentially leave the hub node exposed.
