Anything with "German engineering." Many other European cars I find beautiful and the designs justify the cost, like a lotus or a Ferrari. Modern German cars just look and feel like expensive appliances designed to get you to and from wherever while keeping your suit from wrinkling. I would kill for any e30 m3. Im not interested in ever driving an e92 m3 again. Coolest German car I ever drove? Not the 993 turbo. Not the 997 gt3 3.8. It was an 85 Quatro. The 80s ruled.
Yes, i said the Golf for say something, but you´re right. I totally agree. For example, compare the prices between a Golf and a 308.
Meh, after it's not the same quality, Peugeot, and French brand in general like to put low cost plastics inside the car (and the engine!) VW cars have still a sense of quality.
I desagree, i had a Xsara Picasso without any problems in 12 years. Actually i have a new C4 Picasso. Interior quality is very good, and after 3 years, only a few problems without importance.
I have to disagree, first Picasso had a lot of electrical problems, simply because the technology put in wasn't mastered. Same story with the Ds, gs, and a lot of older car. And same for late 80' early 90' French cars, like the Renault 25. They aren't particularly reliable. But I don't say that it's the case for all. Our 20 years old 106 with 308000 km/h is in pretty good shape. It really depend on the proprietary, how he use it and the model. In particulary earlier models.
Starting at $630,000. Mercedes G Wagon 6x6 http://hanabi.autoweek.com/sites/de...1200-675/public/228009995-1.jpg?itok=6505nH3I
This happens with all cars. It depends, as you said, on the proprietary. The Picasso was known for other problems like the oil consume sometimes. The turbo in the 1.6 were also problematic in some units. In my case, the 2.0 worked fine always.
J Yeah, motorisations can make a lot of difference. Diesel are generally fiable, well like in pretty much all cars.
Most Full Size Pickups. Even the most basic Ford F-150 (RWD, Smallest Engine, Single Cab) still costs around $26,000! What makes them so expensive? I honestly have no clue.
