Mods not working... Please Help!

I've just recently bought BeamNG Drive. It runs pretty smoothly, other than the fact that I've got an old computer so I have some lag issues, but this isn't the game's fault. Amazing game, but my only problem is the mods. Whenever I download a mod, it simply doesn't show up in the game. My mods folder says I have mods installed and running, but they just don't work. I've done lots of research and tried different ways of installing mods, but nothing has changed! If you know the solution to this error, please contact me! Thank you for your time Have a good day

 

What mods did you install ?
If they are older, it could be that they arent compatible with the 0.8 version of the game.

 

I installed the ETKSseries, but I'll try and make sure they're compatible with me game. Thanks!

Still didn't work :/

 

I just tried the S-series myself. Works fine for me.

Where and how did you install the mod ?
You simply have to put the Zip file you downloaded into Documents>BeamNG.drive>Mods

 

Uninstall this mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/etk-s-series-security.1758/
It break the s series mod.

 

I went to documents>beamng>mods and placed the mod in the folder. My game says that I've installed 1/1 mods, but it just doesn't show up.
