Is black too black?

This really is a minor thing and I'm not sure if others are experiencing it.

First is from mod map, second is from Utah, tires are so black I can't tell where tire ends and shadow of wheel well starts and this is sun's side of the car, I have graphics settings at maximum all bells and whistles on. Black is like 0,0,0 black, is it so dark on your machines?

I have calibrated monitor for 2.2 gamma because of photo editing needs, each color individually, sadly monitor is rather cheap 27" Fujitsu, but for me it appears that black might be too black here, what ever the reason, it might be some setting in geforce panel too, but just wanted to know if others are seeing less black? Even in new cars with tire black rubbed on them, I think tires are not quite that black than what I'm seeing, but not sure why I'm seeing such dark black.

 

That might be your monitor. I see the shadow and tire quite good...

I did new calibration and now I see it properly again, also that jolted my memory and did remember that I changed GPU after previous calibration, maybe that causes something to be different and things were off, now it's perfect again, thanks!
