    As hinted in some of my responses, I like geography and just hidden treasures when it comes to locations. If there is anything near you home town (statues, museums, shops, buildings exedra) post them here. I highly suggest using this site: http://www.atlasobscura.com/
    Rules;
    • Be appropriate. If you think it could offend someone, don't post it!
    • Be serious, please!
    • Be honest, show pictures of this location. They could be from online or your own!
    • Explore the area around you. I guarantee that there has to be something interesting around you.
    If I see anything else happening that I feel is wrong, it will be added to the rules

    Project example, in the greater Harrisburg area, we have the following:

    I meant more exotic local attractions. Like weird shops or big abandoned buildings!

    I live near Giant Step, a giant footprint of uncertain origin. Here's a picture.

    My town has a statue of the inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell.

    He also ran a telephone line from my town to Paris, Ontario. The Bell homestead is recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada, which lies within the outskirts of my town.
