Thanks Tom666! And by the way we're also "Crash Test Dummies"! It would be a nice addition to BeamNG DRIVE! LOL
Ibishu Covet "WRC2" The chrome parts look very nice, it would look better if there were dynamic cubemaps though...
Yet another out of commission car, not yet sure if I'll release it, it's nothing special really EDIT: Added link
Thanks a lot but I'm not nearly as good as tom666, I merely make the rusty and dusty effects on cars I've already made a few skins, but I'm out of ideas by now tom666 has made many skins by now, and since I don't want to "copy" the same types of skins, I'm completely out of ideas Feel free to request if you want a certain skin
Coming soon: USAF Bolide Making the "mouth" on the car is as hard as can be, that'll take so much time to line up correctly Yeah, I'm completely out of ideas
Haha, ditto. A 'NO-STEP' decal on the top of the front bumper would be perfect lol. I love the rivets as well, that's a really cool skin.
Thanks guys, I'll add them aswell I made a brushed metal texture over the car, so now it looks "metallic" Still struggling with the mouth
Quick update: I gave up on the mouth in the front because it got textured badly and looked terrible, so I moved it What are your thoughts so far? Should I keep these textures or remove some of them? Of course it's still not finished, more decals incoming EDIT: Dammit, the "Jet intake" decals should be in the front of the car, fixing it now Haha yeah Hopefully it'll turn out decent
Hmm...tough decision.. The mouth on the side, being behind the front tire kinda throws me off. I don't think I'm a fan of it, but everything else is awesome. And I don't know how much more effort you're willing to put into it, but some subtle weather streaks on the rivets would really be the cherry on top of this awesome skin.
EDIT: I'll release it now but I'm still working on it, it's mostly done by now EDIT 2: I feel like an ass, I flattened the image in photoshop so I could save it as .dds, but I forgot to "unflatten" it and I saved the .psd (meaning now I only have one layer so editing this skin will be too hard) Weathering can still be done though, and adding something like stickers, but I can't remove anything anymore
Seeing comments like this make it totally worth my time and nerves to do these skins That's actually a very good idea! I'll start making one right away BTW do you know how to make the color matte? It's not really the same if it's glossy dark green - - - Updated - - - As suggested by tom666, here's another military livery This is so plain and simple it only took like 10 minutes I left out the rivets because they didn't really fit in this Weathered version coming soon aswell Please tell me if I missed something, I don't know much about US military vehicles
Thanks a lot man, really helps me motivate on doing skins if people actually care to use them I'm out of ideas again, please suggest some kind of skin I could make on any car, I can't think of anything new - - - Updated - - - Okay, since I ruined the .psd file, I can't really make a good weathering job, but here's something at least I'm really into details so I made smudged mirrors that have been wiped with a hand (unfortunately it's good for nothing, it's not visible at all ) and some smoke trails on the rear bumper This is not really well made, but that's because of the .psd file Next time I won't forget to unflatten it
Allright, I guess I'll jump on the skin train! It's really kind of shitty, but the link is there if you happen to want it... Keep in mind that I spent 2-4 minutes on this!
Oh sweet Jesus the details! Every detail looks so realistic, nothing more can I say How do you make the rust effect btw? It looks as realistic as it can be EDIT: View attachment 13510 What's that weird pattern on the roof? Looks like a watermark
