Just a quick question, should I upload this mod of a mod? It is super basic, I just moved the front nodes of the tank down to the floor, which makes it like a ramp.
Sooo, this mod is aperantly imported from gta 5... And I have to upload it in the forums instead. I'll give ya'll the link when it's done. Though now I'm going to bed.
I mean. I know what it does now. But maybe put some more time into it and actually make "the ramp"? I don't want to sound hateful or anything idk anything about making car mods, but cmon.
Ok, so this mod took me one hour to make, that is nothing compared to other bigger stuff. Most of what I do contains jbeam modding, I am not a friend of 3D modeling or texturizing. I know that there are something called UV maps and that looks like a mess... And then to make the texture you're supossed to create a DDS file which contains the texture, if you open one of those files you would only see paint and chaos everywhere. (Most of the time) And the easier way for me to say it is that, I only write the code, I am bad at Modeling and Texturizing meshes.
You 'just' moved the front nodes down right? From a quality point of view, that's not much, as that will go far to what the actual shape/realism of the tank would be. I don't see how this could be an update to that mod, it's more like a fun cheat. Anyway, you should still ask the author for permission, after all it's his mod you are working on
I got a response on my mod really quickly yesterday evening. They said that the mod had been imported from GTA and that I didn't credit the guy that imported it from gta. --- Post updated --- No, there are mostly no realism at all in my mods, look at my raisable snokel for example... I still am a basic modder that is what I am trying to say. And yes I should've asked for the dude's permission, I'm sorry about that.
NistingurA is right, It will probably not have a visible ramp. Also this mod might take a while to upload since the guy that created the btr-80 was last online in January.
