    CVT does mean Continuously Variable Transmission.... I've never heard of Constant Velocity?!?

    the throttle isn't responsive enough. You need to really floor it to get any power. If you want to drive like a regular person (go about 17% throttle) than you get low power, barely enough to climb a hill.

    I found the best method, in the first 5 mph use the S option in the CVT and then flick it to D.
