are you intellectually disabled or just completely blind to something you can easily google. Toyota engineered most of the car, subaru engineered the suspension and the engine. It was a partnership, and as such, subaru and toyota both sell the same car with their own badges
That's not true, the car was developed by both companies simultaneously, this isn't even the first time such a thing happened.
Besides, if there's one visible difference between the two, that's actually the front bumper (and the inner headlights)... Everything else down to the same alloys is shared.
the Toyota has all the performance options and the Subaru has the visual options also companies do this all the time, some examples are dsm's, all gm products since the 50's, ford and mercury, all Plymouths and probably a few other cars I can't think of atm

Scion is a US-only Toyota sub-brand. It was retired last year, the FRS will wear a Toyota badge in the US, too.

Owned an 86 and know BRZs inside and out. Toyota styled the car and did the direct injection for the FA20, Subaru did literally everything else to the point where 86s and FRSes wear Subaru VINs (JF1Zxx). Both 86 and BRZ have factory cosmetic and performance offerings through TRD and STI channels, though the performance parts are not the same; Toyota and Subaru performance springs and sway bars have different rates for example. Don't forget my long suffering rule of "shut up your mouth hole if you don't know what you're talking about".
The term that comes to mind is "Badge Engineering". It's existed for a while, and makes complete sense for a large corporation that owns multiple brands... You can have multiple cars to sell, but with only a fraction of the development cost. Some good examples: BRZ/GT86/FRS Opel Speedster/ Vauxhall VX220/ Saturn Sky (This always frustrated me in NFS HP2, why do I need two of the same car?) Same car, different grille Crown Vic/Grand Marquis There are many other great examples, just google "Badge Engineering" It's quite a smart idea, just make a base, then design a ton of grilles.
The Crown Vic and Grand Marquis are just a little different, as the Grand Marquis is the luxury version of the Crown Vic
The crown vic is my dream car,2009-2011. Something like glossy black. The grand marquis seems to be more sophisticated,rich brother.
The Saturn Sky has no platform relation to the VX220/Speedster. The Saturn Sky is a front engine rear wheel drive, where the VX220/Speedster is a mid engine rear wheel drive. The Sky uses the GM Kappa platform(related cars: Pontiac Solstice and Opel GT), and the VX220/Speedster uses the Lotus Elise Series 2 platform(related cars: Lotus Exige, Lotus 2-Eleven, Lotus Europa S, Tesla Roadster, Hennessey Venom GT).
