One of the reasons for me making it an ibishu was to make it easier to work on (why make a custom interior when you can port a working one over?). And I do plan on modifying the interior to be more "civicy" (removing power windows etc). But the other reason is that I just want to make this an ibishu. I like the idea of it. But i also understand that some people want it as it was; a Civic. If you want, you can use all my stuff to make it a Honda again, but I prefer to keep it as an Ibishu. Its easier for me to work on it this way and it gives me more options for parts, sponsors, and hopefully I'll get it onto the repo.
I don't understand why people are having problems with the dashboard It shows up just fine for me lol
I guess facelifting/restyling is the new thing... Mods keep evolving to new types... What could be the next big thing?
I just noticed something... Is the orange thing under the roof spoiler (I dont know if its the tailgate light) supposed to be orange or is it a "no texture" message?
Honestly the best re-style I've ever seen in BeamNG. I hope you do more generations If you want to do VTec but also want it on the repo (cause they'll most likely decline real brand names for copyright), you can just cleverly rename such brands to synonyms or parodies. Such as VTec to YTec and Honda to Lariat.
Looks dope. At first I thought "why not just release it as Civic", but actually it being an Ibishu is kinda cool and gives us (and you too, I guess) more flexibility, e.g. with engines. Besides minor flaws that were already mentioned, a fartcan exhaust tip has no texture and mudflaps (splash guards too) don't fit Okudai rear bumper that well.
This already has VTEC, I renamed it to EVC (Electronic Valve Control), each engine is based off of a VTEC engine. The SOHC models are based off of a mix from the D-Series of VTEC engines and the DOHC are B-Serieses. The ZXi models have an engine based off of the '99 Type-R (though I made them have a smaller displacement for consistency reasons). Later on I'll make some custom valve covers with the EVC logo on em. --- Post updated --- Oh god I forgot I removed the textures for that. Expect a fix shortly. --- Post updated --- Also, everybody, I realized I messed up the naming scheme for these files. Please delete the "hatch2.zip" and the "newcovet.zip" before updating this time.
