Ha guys, I bought an ffb wheel for 15€ a year ago. It was cheaper than my Xbox controller.

A G27 costs what it does because its not viable to sell for $50 new as it likely costs that much to produce. A controller for 5 euro is much more understandable as its way more basic and is essentially just two joysticks and a circuit board with two moulded plastic halves. Just open amazon and type in "controller" and you will find many for $10 and bellow. (by controller I mean xbox style controller, not a flightstick, wheel, tv remote whatever else you can think of.)

Also MSRP on a G27 is like $400 max so quit bullshitting.

I seriously don't understand why people are arguing over this. Somebody misunderstood something, misunderstanding is cleared up, why are we still talking about this then? The OP was asking if you could better modulate speed on a keyboard and he got his answer. Either get a controller (of any sort, calm down) or use the Cruise Control thing. Can't we just leave it that?

 

Okay, last time i checked it was $700. But still, $400 is a major crapload of money.
