    great job
    --- Post updated ---
so is breakable bodies the only thing in the next update, because I'm fine with that, btw I'll keep the RC7 file in my downloads file, I still have the 2.0 truck and the 3.0 at the same time, no conflicts unless that's what's causing the no texture on the bodies from the skin pack, will find out tomorrow, either way it's no big deal

so i found a few things, parts seem to break a bit too easily (look at monster jam WF18), the unbeadlocked rims don't pop easier like IRL, and automatic in the automatic mode is a slushbox (not like that IRL). things may or may not be different with the repository version

Will be the same in repository edition.

Slushbox tranny is BeamNG's doing. I don't like it either. Before 0.8.0, auto transmission was much faster. For example, in order to complete the front-flip stunt I do, I have to shift manually, because Slushbox Modeā„¢ is not fast enough. That was not the case before... So I hear ya! Unfortunately, the delay is deeply embedded into the BeamNG power-train LUA, so there is no fix by jbeam values, at least not yet.(Some of it has to do with the large tires, which take longer to stop rotation.)

I don't get to play much often lately, but I really don't have a problem with the breakage. I actually thought it is pretty robust as far as toughness.
Do you ever adjust your "Tire Damping"? Try turning front and rear, all the way up, or close to it. That's the only thing I can think that might make a difference. I do it every time I play.

Unbeadlocked rims are just a graphic option. Rims and tires in pressureWheels are literally two separate entities that don't influence one another all that much (unless you size them improperly).

A workaraound could have been to explicitly code the Firestone tire parameters to cause it to pop easier.

I could have done that, but people have been complaining about stuff breaking too easily like there was no tomorrow, so I didn't bother.

    Slow but rather smoothly, yes.

Raptor will get two different kind of breakable body parts:

    - Front clip and rear wings will come off clean. Rear wings will have two points of failure, when only one of them fails the part will dangle unhinged.
    - The cab will "crack" and deform. It will take severe damage for parts to break off completely (see previous pic of the pillars breaking and the roof "peeling" off).

Some unsolved issues yet, and some more work to be done. We're on the right track! :)

Sounds like some good progress is being made, glad to hear that. :D
Speaking of the Spiked Max-D, what has happened to Backwards Bob and Overkill Evolution? If those aren going to be used, would I be able to put them in my pack?

They are still in the plans.

All I need is 48 hours in a day. Maybe someone doing my job for me so I can mod and pay the bills.

Hmmmm both of those sounds very possible (sarcasm) Sadly not much I can do to help progress the other trucks. I would personally prefer having breakable bodies instead of more trucks, so Im fine with them being on the back burner.

Sorry for being inactive, been crazy with school and everything, but will we be seeing a model driver implemented in the near future? I actually remembered playing around with an E30 (chassis code) BMW M3 mod about a year or two ago, and I remembered there being an option to have a "stig" or "dummy" as a driver. Could we possibly be seeing something like this in the future to make the mod look realistic?

Also, great to hear about having breakable body parts for Grave Digger and the Raptor Trophy Trucks. It will definitely look more realistic than Rigs of Rods' breaking physics.

I believe F2YS had said something about the Ford F-150 bodies being dropped. Will that also be applicable to the Cadillac Escalade bodies? Or will those remain?

There was talk about that a long time ago but nothing came of it. On a list of importance, its near the bottom. And talk about the f150 is on the last page. Read about it on there a bit. If you have more questions, Ill be here.

Hey, after recording a video, i think the trucks overheat much to fast, and especially in smaller arenas, but other than that I think its otherwise very good :)
