Hey guys. I've (for whatever) reason been interested in the Bruckell Le Gran. I decided I'd like to find out which car it represented from the real world. I have two ideas, now these are my own opinions, so if you disagree, that's fine, I won't witch hunt you, because, A. it's not worth my time and B. I am not an 11-year-old. Anyways, I had a car in mind so, here it is. The Second Generation Chrysler LeBaron. First off, the name totally makes sense (LeGran-LeBaron) and the cars look quite alike. Now, the Chrysler LeBaron had previous generations, such as: the Classic Generation (1931-1941), the Imperial Generation (1957-1975), and the First Generation (1977-1981). The other car I had in mind is Thirteenth Generation Chrysler New Yorker, specifically the 1988 model. This one, the car its self looks familiar but not much else but you can decide. To the left is the LeBaron to the right is the New Yorker. Thanks- TwinCams
I did this for the Grand Marshal, so now I'll do it for the LeGran as well. I see a lot of similarities to the Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera in the LeGran.
True, my grandma's friend just pulled up in her powder blue Cutlass Ciera and I thought LeGran. I guess we can't give Lee Iacocca credit. The Cutlass Ciera was also the as the late 1980's and early 1990's Buick Century. Just to be clear, you are talking about the 1982-1988 Cutlass Ciera Sedan, correct?
Yes, the reason I asked was the Pre 1989 Cutlass Ciera had an actual quarter window while the post 1989 Cutlass Ciera had a black filler instead of the quarter window.
