Yeah, but ddr3 has lower CAS timings, making ddr4 only slightly faster. And ddr4 is more expensive.

    I like ;)

-Balanced setup, with good distribution between CPU and GPU expenditure, getting the most out of both, yet with room for expansion.

    8.6/10

4/10 Intel HD is not great
Also I know what you mean by haunted DVD Drive, I have a 2005 HP desktop and I was updating it overnight and then the disc just randomly span up (it was a DVD video disc) and made a hell of a racket

I recently bought a new system and was wondering how I did... I think it's pretty good... It is an apple though so I know some people will hate it immediately. Just remember, I got it used and pretty cheap for the hardware, so it's not like I am fanboying here or anything.

    Mac Pro 5.1
    Windows 10/MacOS Dual Boot
Dual Intel 2.66 GHz 6 Core Xeon X5650's
    32Gbs of 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM
2TB Hard disk (will get more as time goes on)
Dual AMD Radeon HD 5770 Series Graphics cards

It runs beam pretty much flat out with up to 14 cars rather effortlessly... so thats a plus...

Mobo/CPU are getting older, and they weren't that good to begin with, but decent enough, curious what banana says in combination with the newest update with your current cpu.
You bought a very decent PSU (I almost prone to say overkill, but for future upgrades you can just bring ya old PSU, which safe's money in the future, good going).
GPU fairly decent mid range GPU should be adquate for most use cases.

I got mah new build a few days ago, but I already had some parts laying around(gpu/psu), still deciding on the case tho:

its ryZEN, nearly matches Intels IPC so its not a bad chip, also is better than comparable i5 CPUs
9/10 - really a GTX 1080.. and why do you have a sound card, on board audio is better than it was 20 years ago
