Those two chassis have very little in common. To get that in would require an entire jbeam from scratch like the Cohen, and there's too much going on now to worry about that.
So that's Willman model 1.0 or is this version even going to be put in the game, I see it is missing a tire so the model isn't finished, but other than that it looks like the 3D model is almost done, maybe a few tweaks to it overtime but still, looks great
how difficult would it be to implement something like this? hmm...is it possible to have the tire come completely off but leave the rim? that could fix the exploded tire causing the whole thing to break off a couple seconds later. plus its awesome when it happens in real shows.
It would still require an entirely new jbeam to be able to work in game, given that it's vastly different from either of the other chassis in game. And given the current state of affairs this is going on the back burner of projects for a while.
Now you guys are starting to learn. Just because we post a pic of something doesn't mean its coming out next week or next month.
back burner after the cohen is done. after that it'll either be the Willman or a leafer in which case, I vote leafer, cause all we need is a basic truck (drive-able but no body) and i'll be good.
well, tires coming off the rim is something that even that base-game can't do. so until the beamng devs implement popped tire separation from rim simulation, our beloved trucks won't have it. also, this (tires are deflated) but that might be the nature of the tires
Yeah, its going to take a while to make this. Give F2YS some time. --- Post updated --- Like what do you mean?
i've been a part of messing around with this mod for almost as long as f2ys. i know things take time. but there have been moments where there was a quick fix before. like the rims eating part of the tires. there was a quick solution up not too long after posting about it. was seeing if there would be a similar quick fix this time around. evidently the answer this time is no, and that's fine. keep up the great work! view this post for those who won't around that long: https://www.beamng.com/attachments/elegy-ukraine-jpg.173671/
* Status update * To do: - Coltris for the rear fenders - Anti-submarining shelf for the roof spoiler - Clean-up
Collision Triangles. The green, transparent things around the silhouette of the vehicle: They are flat surfaces defined by three nodes (hence, a triangle) essential for vehicular collisions. Without coltris, only the nodes in the node/beam structure can interact with the environment. The vehicle structure, as it appears in game now:
