I am really anxious to get my hands on the mod too and I keep a constant check to see if its released but I want the creators to release it as they see fit. they are the ones that put in the huge amount of time into the mod. Whenever you guys can release it great but until then ill be patient.
you are showing sportsmanship IMO because you are waiting patiently......can't say the same for others
Can someone link me the latest version of the CRD Monster Trucks mod and briefly tell me how to install it? I know I'm late to this thread but every YouTube video I can find is using an outdated link. Sorry if this has been asked a lot, I'm very new to the game and just want to mess around with some Monster Trucks
same for me countryguy94 cant wait for the trucks its going to be great but patience will make it even greater
They are in the process of making an updated version. You will have to wait until they are finished and upload it here, I suppose.
it's going straight to the repository. it won't have ANY bodies to it as they will be a seperate download (their might be a debadged raptor body with a couple skins but the entire thing will break apart) please be patient while we work through this.
Hi guys. Thank you all for waiting patiently. We are getting some new things done with right now and the truck is lookin nice. Its going to take a while for it to be released to the public
That's a bummer, if the release was mentioned around March 26 as soon, how come it's now a while to be released if you don't mind me asking?
Because it's not ready yet...? I'm working alone on this right now. I have family and work obligations that will always get absolute priority over a videogame. Sorry if I can't get this done soon enough for you...
Oh no problem, it was just a question, I also have obligations that's why I was asking. Not sure why you got offended but if this is how you treat people who were just wondering information well I guess that's a problem you'll have to solve on your own. Thanks for the effort on the mod though, maybe next time I'll get a more respectful response.
Not sure why you got offended either. Mod is still to be released "soon", it's not like you were told it was canceled or postponed indefinitely. By someone not directly involved in its development, no less... I certainly didn't mean to come out as "disrespectful", and I apologize for that... but you'll have to admit you could have phrased your question a lot more politely if a respectful response is what you were expecting.
I can see where F2YS might get annoyed, when the same question keeps getting asked, over, and over, and over. Plus, the community is not really all that nice towards modders. You guys expect demand too much from something that is done as a hobby, produces no income, and requires a lot of time. Personally, I have not been helping with the mod lately, because I have to spend all of my time on things that produce an income to support my family. Who wants to start paying me to mod? I think it's fun, but I can't afford to sit around and have fun. In BeamNG... anything less than 1 year = Soon.
The reason I was offended were the underlines and italics implying sarcastic and undermining tones. My question was direct and suggestive of question in what might have caused the delay. Simply as you stated "Working alone and work has been affecting my progress" would have justification enough without the other statements. If you've worked in customer relations or applications projects with clients, the most direct questions are more beneficial than soft/beat around the bush types. When you dangled terms such as soon, I (as a modder myself and respond in polite regard no matter what the question may be) would expect people to wonder when the release would happen or at least another message stating the aforementioned statements about delay. In any relations between producer and consumer, the producer should at least hold their composure and appreciate that other people respect and appreciate their work. Similar to any games releases on any medium, consumers wonder about the status of said release and just are anxious to know they'll finally get to try their awaited desire. All this aside, I do appreciate the continued effort. I do appreciate that you take time out of your schedule to give people like me a chance to play awesome mods. Thanks sincerely. --- Post updated --- Yeah, understandable, I do quite a bit of modding as well, have a family and work 50+ hours in application development a week so it's the same thing for me. Asking a question about time frame is what is placed on a modder when they place items available. It should be what's expected of a modder if they wish to go public with a mod. I understand these conditions so when I release mods, I fully expect people to ask questions, wonder the status and even expect demands of people. Maybe it should be written somewhere explicitly beamng->soon-> less than 1 year lol.
