Sorry about the lack of content lately, I didn't forget about you don't worry! Current wheel options Sport & Industrial (Both deep-dish) (imported from here) This started out as a personal project of mine, I wanted to make the D-15 look as sporty and Bogan as I can, well it worked. Result is quite interesting and fun to play around with. I've got a few pre-set configs to choose from, 1: D-15 371HP AWD Stock 2: D-15 371HP AWD With Cover 3: D-15 539HP RWD Drifter 4: D-15 708HP AWD Dragster 5: D-15 708HP AWD Sport Also comes with 2 different Turbocharger options, the smaller turbo gives the truck a total power of 539hp, the larger gives a total of 708hp(lol). Added a bed cover, alongside default Did some engine mods, made it look more appealing and detailed, all colours are changeable within materials.cs Custom wheels, Industrial(Modded off-road wheels) and Sport(Modded super wheels) Don't know if you can notice, the I made the bonnet a lot flatter (See attached pics) Also enlarged headlights, as well as added a slight tint to them Added a roll-cage Suspension adjustments, tightened it up Made some custom wheel skins, which are in the pickupsport folder so you can edit them without changing default textures + Loads of other stuff, I lost count. But of course, you can always customize it how you want and make your own configs. More updates will come eventually, with more wheel options etc!
kind of has a weird powerband and weird shift points. i'm having trouble maintaining power throughout a corner... even with 700hp. it seems to shfit straight into 5th gear around 40 mph and refuses to shift down. ends up trying to do drifts at ~3k rpm in 5th gear with no power. also it feels like it has a weird weight distribution... but it *is* a pickup truck, so i'm ok with that
I love it man! I can't wait to test it out. Would it be okay if I reskinned it and released the skins? - - - Updated - - - As Sam said, manual is the only way to go. You'll notice all vehicles will feel a lot faster in manual.
I guess you could All D-15 skins are compatible with it, although you wont be able to skin the bed cover.
I only have one thing to say about this mod and that is about the "drifter" version, IMO you need to stiffen up the suspension some, it's wobbling all over the place for me other than that nice work! Edit: the E-brake block ALL tyres ? that's not drift friendly //Granberg
Is there a way that you could make it skinnable? I voted for more rim options. Why? You can never have too many ;P
You have to remember that this is a pickup truck that weighs well over a tonne But I will work on hardening the suspension more. - - - Updated - - - I could probably UV it in the next version and make it a separate file
Ye, I get you on the being weight part, should lose some weight for the drifter Just saw that the E-brake blocks ALL tyres, thats not drift friendly :/ //Granberg
Just noticed that after I released, drop this file into the pickupsport folder, I removed the E-Brake locking from the front wheels.
Give me 5-10 to play with it Okay, Still too soft if you ask me, also a but too high It's seems that the front is has too much grip (for drifting) //Granberg
The only thing I changed in that patch was the E-Brake locking the front wheels.. Not yet, but I am open to suggestions. Preferably ones that are already in the game.. Because that would only take me a few minutes, rather than model complete new ones. But we'll see.
I love the power its sooo much fun when you get the back end out and hold it in a drift that Kunimitsu Takahashi would be proud of its got that control to it...the power is just SPOT ON I love it
