The ETK S-Series seems kinda broken. All breakable parts are flopping around like they are very loosely attached? I can't explain it very good
Also, loving these performance upgrades. My PC no longer sounds like it's dying when I run BeamNG. All of these benchmarks were made on the Dunsfold Aerodrome map with 16gb ram, a R7 370 and a crappy i5 processor. (More info on specs in my signature) With three cars spawned: Before update: 10fps After update: 40fps With 1 oldsfullsize: Before update: 19 fps After update: 80fps With 2 oldsfullsizes Before update: 1fps After update: 40fps Thank you so much, devs!
Don't Sh!t post Every post has to do with the game and not your private stuff Be kind to each other etc etc
I guess The next update could bring us finally a tow truck or a long bed for the d-series, as we already have 3 cab options it would be about time for some upfit variations.
Sadly gabe said we won't be getting a long bed, too many frame lengths to maintain. I'm still kinda hoping it happens eventually. The tow truck is very possible though since the model for it is already in the game files. Didn't that come with the previous update?
i'm more hoping for west coast. if it is too far away from finished, at lest some dev screens would be great
I think it's not likely, but there is possibility West Coast still might come out with some larger bugfix for version 0.9. It will most likely come with some bigger update though
Why does it have to mean more frame lengths? With most trucks that I know of, a regular cab/long bed uses the same frame as an extended cab/short bed, but an extended cab/long bed uses the same frame as a half-ton crew cab. Crew cabs with regular short/long beds are probably only available in 3/4 or 1-ton variants, though I wouldn't know personally. HOWSOMEEVER, the crew cab shown on the devblog is a D25 and looks very much like it's using the same bed as the regular and extended cab versions, which if true means that the extra-long frame is already in-game. Thus, if my assumptions are correct, it would actually be possible to create every permutation except crew cab/long bed (if any of those even exist in real life) and extended cab/long bed without creating any more new frames. @gabester, comments?
