Perks of my job. I don't need to stick random lights on my wiring to get visual indicator of events. I just stick a current clamp around wire and connect it to an oscilloscope

Yesterday I fitted the summer tires I bought for my previous Probe to my current one, and today when I was driving to work on my BMW it of course had to snow:D

Today I therefore worked on my BMW. It needs rust removal, so I helped my brother to strip it down, and then we went for a ride with no doors:D Just had to, these kinds of opportunities don't come often:D

Replaced ujoint, filled trans and replaced shifter bushings/pins, and threw my flyhweel/clutch back in. Now all I have to do is put the trans and driveshaft in. And starter. And intake. Etc..

I think it's fascinating. I've honestly had a lot of fun tearing it down so far.

That is one thing i can actually respect it for in fairness. I do like mechanical things and how they work, got a fairly nerdy little joy just out of watching a Lego differential spin. An automatic gearbox is a fascinating device, and again I hate them but i have alot of respect for CVT and dual clutch gearboxes from engineering standpoint. I just don't want them in my cars

    Swap linkage from innovative mounts.
Traction bar from full race. I can't believe how solid this bar is. Impressed. Psyched.

Last week I installed a cheap $6 Chinese carbon fibre look rubber->bootlip spoiler.
Found the same 'spoiler' selling locally for $100AUD for parts+installation... ouch
It adds a little individuality to the little Civic, there's at least 10 other identical dark grey Civic VTI-L's in Perth, Australia
