Hey, thanks a lot for those. They will definitely be helpful. Minor improvements on the body (fixed some smoothing issues, and added geometry to the wheel wells to make them more rounded).
Do you know what goes best with a hopper? A smooth running Ibishu V6, A concealed protective spare wheel cover, And a turbocharged 2-liter.
...Not a bad idea. I'll what I can do. I also think it should be a separate release from any other mods I make for it, since I can imagine there are dozens of people who probably want something like this.
I was originally designing it off a 2003 model, but it shares lots of similarities with earlier and later models, too.
:/ I've encountered a weird shading/smoothing problem with my model. I don't know if it has to do with the UV mapping, or something else, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to delete all the faces off the problem ares, and re-face everything. The weird thing is the areas I didn't modify have the same problem. Look at this picture of the engine bay for instance. The model isn't smoothing correctly. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?
Yep, I've also added solidify and edge split modifiers, as well as making sure my vertices, edges, and faces were all set to smooth.
You could certainly offer different bodies on top of the same chassis for pretty much any time late 80's through the mid 2000's. Not a whole lot of drastic change under the skin. The cars got faster and the suspension changed, but the basic chassis and cage stayed mostly the same.
make it say it in different lettering style, like comic sans MS? or with a hopper drawn on the back, like these: (these have a jeep on them) glass T-top?...
