BeamNG variety mod was literally my favorite modpack every in any game, what happened to it? It appears the author removed it or didn't update it, any word from anyone?
Its dead m8. Seriously he mentioned it multiple time that he abandon it and he will not update it. RIP
Hey, NinetyNine! does not plan to update the mod and since it was not working with the recent version of the game, we decided together to remove it for now.
WHY!? Tag it as "Not Working" and leave it on. For Me Only The custom Engines are Not Working... What if somebody planned on Updating it? Like Me for example? I need a fresh copy, and its gone... IF YOU DO SUCH THINGS IT'LL STAY DEAD!!!
We agreed on doing that. The amount of useless comments and bashing he was getting is ridiculous. If you need it, why you don't you try to PM him instead?

Hey there, i just finished repairing the VM pack. I have not yet repaired the engines that failed in the vm nor the transmissions. but i have rewritten the .pc files so all configs that are left (i had to remove 14 configs bc i couldnt get them working via .pc ) work out of the box. i requested 99s permission to upload, he didnt reply although he is online. if Nadeox1 gives me permission ill upload the pack.
It's not me who you have to ask, but the author of the mod himself :\ V Don't post anything without explicit permission.
I did but he didnt reply to any pm. (he was on while i sent and online 3hrs later too seen on the everyone post a pic thread, i asked him after i created the Request engine switch thread and i think it should be okay when i give credit and share it here instead of uploading it as a mod
The only things that don't work are engine/transmission parts (and presets that use them obviously). Body parts still work fine...
I did repair exactly those .pc (config) files, now the VM Original Engines (I-Tec engines and Gearboxes) are replaced by the Stock Variant that fits the car best. All configs now work Out of the box (Click the config and go without changing the "Faulty" parts) I can pm the mod to anybody that wants it beacuse 99 does not reply to my upload permission request. PM ME IF YOU WANT THE FIXED VM Edit: 99 Did Reply and i try to convince him to give me permission or either upload the file himself
i still have some files if someone wants them just ask me --- Post updated --- the thing is, i don't why 99 decided to abandon his mod it's, with the djplopper mega pack mod, the best mod ever seriously i'm sad in my beamng player heart. i'm sure that it was a big hit for the mod community because everyone like this mod. but you know we can't do that much to make it come back again.
