Who cares, if you want to ride around with no doors do it, your damn life. Besides I think those bolt on doors have the strength of dinner trays so its hardly a big deal.
Yeah, that is true. Also, I don't know why I said I wouldn't want to be a cop. I'd mainly just rather join the DEA.
My parents say that I should use my powerful brain (IQ of 120) for computer stuff, but I saw law enforcement as my calling. My parents aren't big fans of it, but they're fine with it.
Funny, I've got around the same IQ (129). My parents looked at me with the widest eyes when I said I wanted to join the DEA. But, they said if that's what I want to do, then that's my choice.
Mine was 120 or 160. I only remember that it was about double the average. I'll go check. My parents say that I should be a desk cop. I disagree. EDIT: Discussion continued in a PM.
If you're serious about it, Then good luck, I know several LEO's and they all love what they do, in fact my uncle was the local sheriff for close to 6 years.
Most people here with jeeps take their doors off when it gets above 50f. Hell my grandma just bought her summer vehicle (76 jeep) and she let the guy keep the doors and top for a cheaper price haha. It adds to the experience if you ask me.
I see doorless jeeps every day... I live just east of you in PA. If it's actually illegal... no one cares and no cop will ever pull you over for doing it on a jeep... other vehicles, perhaps, but not a jeep.
Tell me what department you join and I'll come up to Virginia and blow the doors off your department one by one until there is no one left to fall to my sword/car. Your on notice, I'm coming to commit felony evasion against YOU
Your not the police and you'll never have the balls to chase anyone anyway. We need more cops JUST like you.
Of course Your not useless. But you are most certainly not cut out to be a cop if speeding scares you. Not everyone would rather be safe and bored all the time. Scare yourself once in a while man its good for you. Also wishing a speeder would crash in a ditch and die isn't very police like. Your job is above all else to ensure people's safety, even prioritized before enforcing the law. The nypd has a no chase policy for this very reason. I hope you get weeded out during psych eval for your own good. You can do plenty of good without being a tough guy I promise.
I'm only scared of speeding due to the aftermath of when speeding turns deadly. I care about the community, and their own safety, and it scares me when people's lives are at risk. I bet there's probably not a single cop who hasn't been the least bit scared during a pursuit. Also, I never said that I wanted him to die, I just said that it would be his own fault.
