    On this episode of "Finding Lost Beams", we uncover a Utah Offroad Race Legend. This is a 1968 Gavril Barstow RoadSport with a 423 Cubic Inch V8 backed up by a 4-Speed Manual Transmission. It is mostly stock, except for a rollcage, striped interior, sturdier front bumper, rear bumper delete, and chunky offroad tires. This car was sponsored by the still well know "Alder" wheel brand and "Nodeline" oil and gasoline brand.

    This is the condition of the car when we first got our hands on it:

    We put many long hours and pride into this 6-month long body-off rotisserie restoration and this is the finished product, even including Barry Reed's (Driver) signature Passive Purple primer that was left noticeable in many crevices on the original car:
