Yes I am aware of the stopsigns being hit by the AI in town, the AI cuts corners, and it happens. In the future, I will implement a game feature that will keep the AI on the center 80% of the town's roads, meaning, it will stay off the edge with the sign.
This feature, to prohibit the AI from a portion of road, lengthwise, is a new addition in 0.9.x and is not very well documented yet. When it is, I will make use of it (or do some tests).
For this version though, the AI will have plenty of IRON in it's diet. Stop sign pole iron...

Next month, toward the end of the month, you should be able to find an updated version, or perhaps sooner.
I should have this little problem handled by then as I add more roadways.

    Yeah, and to EVERYONE:
There's two small chunks of road missing on the automap that should not be missing:
Virginia Street west of Roane Street/the car lot/industrial yard (my mistake), and the offramp from 40 east to Roane street (this got hit by the deletion bug, I put the ramp back but must have forgotten to set AI).

You don't even have the current version. Download the most recent version please, the signs are fixed.
Make sure you don't have any old conflicting versions either, if you are sure you have downloaded 0.71.
If you have large signs, and the bridges over the river are held up by NOTHING (sometimes, oddly I still see pillars on your end), you have an old version of the map on a new version of the game. Luckily I was just polishing off an update when the new version came through, so it didn't sit broken-looking for long.
If you still have large signs on 0.71 map version (it would say when you load it, the default spawn would be a rather populated place with lots of homes for many blocks, etc), then you have a problem I must address.
Remember this is a WiP map on a WiP game. Problems are bound to occur sooner or later.

@lionscars You left a very sorry review of one star, saying it's broken, the reviews aren't a place for this. You need to contact me with a picture listing your specs, or typed out system specifications. Do you even meet the recommended specifications for Beamng.drive (8gb+ of RAM, 64-bit Beamng.drive version, 0.9.x game version, half-decent video card, page file enabled)? It won't load if you don't have 5.5~6gb of free RAM when you try to load it, or you don't have page file enabled. There's no way this should take over two minutes to load if you have a PC newer than a few years old. Even an i7 950 based system will load this in a minute-and-a-half, you are the only one unable to run this at all, so your system is suspect.

And btw that reply to lioscars. i have an system with an i5 6600 and i will load the map no problem, i dont even think it takes 1,5 minutes. the map runs fine for me, only the first 10 seconds after the map is loaded i get 10 fps but after that its gone. i have 16 gb ram and a 980ti video card.

Not a problem, not everyone always notices everything, we are human. Once you get in the map and spin the camera around once, it should have most things loaded. It loads things on demand, which is good to prevent unnecessary lag.
Lots less lag in map version 0.71 and 0.9.x game version. Latest hotfix hasn't broken anything map related, I have checked.
@lionscars is due to an out-of-memory issue. Generally, restarting the PC, keeping the web browser and anything that isn't needed, closed, then trying to load Beamng.drive via it's icon on the desktop (or from Steam), will result in having the most memory free. Close things like iTunes or other "chow-chow" programs like file-sharing programs (if you use those) and such out, those are notorious memory hogs. It's OK to leave the virus scanner on at all times - and you should.

Well you can remove your rating, and the possibly re-rate, if you don't feel it's right. I put 1000~1500 hours into this map alone, and the textures I made for it. I can assure you that while it does eat up a lot of RAM in the computer when running, it certainly does load up and run.

Hey! I'm very interested in this map. I looks very good. But Every time I want to load this map, my game crashes and I get an error message saying: "beamng drive has exceeded virtual memory limits". I don't know what's wrong. My PC should be good enough. I really hope that someone can help:

    Specs:
Windows 10 Pro x64 (latest version, Creators Update)
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k (Hyper Threading activated, no OC)
RAM: 20GB DDR3 (always at least 12GB free)
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 (4GB, latest drivers with clean install, no OC)
HDD/SSD: OS and BeamNG on 480GB Sandisk SSD, rest of my shit on multiple HDDs

Already cleared cache of BeamNG, but this did not help at all.

That's weird. Usually when it says that, it means that your graphics card doesn't have enough memory to run it. Are you sure that the HDMI or whatever you use is connected to the actual MSI GPU or is it plugged into the motherboard. This was how I fixed it in my scenario btw. Otherwise you might have to set it up so that your MSI is priority over the internal GPU that's on the processor.

The Internal GPU is disabled and I'm definitely running on the GTX 970. I have 3 monitors plugged in. All have the same size and Resolution. One via HDMI, the other one via DisplayPort and the last one via DVI. But I'm playing on the monitor that's connected via DisplayPort (the main Monitor) and I'm playing in window mode. My graphics settings are on normal btw.

Well, I managed to fix the problem myself. I had to change the page file settings. I had to set it manually. It didn't work on auto for some reason. I did set 6144MB for the page file on my SSD. Now it works perfectly!

Anyone have any problems with massive oversized road signs on this map? it has always worked great but today the signs are bigger than the trees. You can see road signs that are several miles away they are so big.. It never did this before?

Alright man, good thing you found fix! I would've ran out of ideas since my solution was a bit simpler.

As for this, it seems to be the 0.9 update. I personally don't know if this is going to be updated or not, so I guess just stay tuned?

You have an old version OR the new version with the old version still around. Please check that you have the latest (0.71) version of the map, as that fixes road sign and other forest brush/performance issues with the map.

Out of memory issues come from not running x64-bit Beamng.drive, not having enough system ram, not having enough pagefile, or a combination of these.
You can never have enough pagefile. I have 30gb here as I have often seen it use 20~22gb of pagefile. If you still get crashes after a while, raise the amount. The pagefile shouldn't wear out your drive quickly, either (it is rumored it does that, but not with any recent fairly-durable consumer/pro-sumer SSD's).
The physics model here, especially when multiple vehicles are in play, is monumental in size.

    --Best of luck!

OK I am kinda LOST here (no, not in the map), I must be missing something or there was a deleted post somewhere...
Which area unfinished do you have in question? There are parts of Kingston and most of Rockwood that aren't finished yet.
The outskirts and rural areas outside of towns have barely been touched. That will take a WHILE, there's 163miles of road.
The GIANT road signs bug is using old map version 0.5 (beta5) on 0.9.x due to updates in the forest brush. The current version doesn't do this at all anywhere (if it does, send a picture, I am human and capable of missing something).
My poor brain is NOT working right now...
Keep in mind this map is a work in progress, and gets updated from monthly to a few times a year, depending on workflow amount / amount of time I put into it. It is still being worked on, it just takes me a very long time at this rate.
The road is a nice rural highway/ rural avenue and generally marked with 45~55mph signs, vs 70mph on the interstate.
We have a lot of nice 4-lane rural highways here in Tennessee, that seem like regular highways but have level crossings (usually), and occasionally traffic lights on them. They don't wait as long as other states to upgrade the roads down here.

Yes, at the edge of the map, the water over the road (flood) serves as a 'soft-barrier', a sort of 'turn-around' point, however, I realized at some point (we won't question what state of mind I was in at the time), that jumps would be fun there. So I put them in, and they've stayed thus far. There are fallen trees that border the very edge of the map, these serve as a hard barrier, and so if you fall out of the map, you will have an issue, but you really have 'to try very hard' to fall out of the map. Do try to keep an eye out for high water areas, though they're usually when you are coming up on the edge of the map (with the exception of near the Kingston Fossil Power Plant).
