Mine would go in and out of OD around 42 to 47 MPH with 35x12.5s and 3.55s, but otherwise the 3.55's never bothered my besides the speedo.
What's weird, is with mine the speedo reads about 6-7 MPH faster than true with the 265/75's, but dead on accurate with the 35's. If mine is on cruise it will come out of overdrive on the slightest incline, regardless of the tire size, if its not on cruise, with the 265/75's it will come out maybe half the time, and with the 35's closer to 3/4's of the time. Also with the 35's it feels really weak, and with a 22 ft car trailer with a 5300 lb half ton Chevy on it, I felt like I had to basically had to flat foot it everywhere. No Bueno. However, it did look really good with the 35's.
My brother's Ram has the same problem, it keeps shifting in and out of 5th(?) on the highway because of the big Treadwright tires he has on it. It's really fun to ride around in though!
Went over to my buddy's house around noon today to look at a new trailer he got, but we ended up pulling his 72 C20 out of the weeds, and pulled it's 69 2 bolt main 350 and TH350 out.The cylinder walls still look brand new, they still have perfect cross hatching in them, however #5 and #8 both need rings, and #7 needs a rod bearing. Now it's 6:30, and that's more than enough work for a Saturday. Tomorrow we'll rebuild it and see how it runs after all these years.
My Vue has engine problems? Yay, another problem for me to look at. It's not a huge concern, the problem only comes up when I rev the engine, which almost never. Also, my parents will buy a 2012/13 Kia Sportage. I'm going to drive it if I ever get the chance to, and I'll probably end up getting to keep my (in dire need of repairs) Vue. Oh, I think I'm going to faint from all the excitement. EDIT: How is the Sportage? Any opinions of the vehicle?
Good luck with the rear blind spots xD My parents were tempted by it, but they decided to look at estates instead cause none of the crossovers have large boot areas. But they came with a 7 year warranty (like all Kia's) , so Kia must obviously have some faith in the design and reliability.
Modern cars have terrible blindspots. The amount of times I haven't seen a car whilst driving the 16' Mazda 3 because the A-pillar blocked it is more than Im comfortable with
What? Are you an idiot? It's really bloody easy to do that. The Toyota Yaris manages 37 mpg on the highway using a 4-speed auto.
The little red $200 Cavalier has gotten 35. I'm sure if it had a manual trans you could get 37 from it.
