37 mpg is about 6 or 7 litter /100kg, no? It's a lot more than what most cars get here, at least compacts and others, Even SUVs, For exemple the Mercedes GLC with ~210hp, 1.7t, and a lot of equipments get around 36mpg, it's already a pretty big car here. I don't know what are the standards in your country, but 37mpg is already a lot in France.

Just think carefully about what you're going to say, make sure it's actually factual, and admit when you're wrong. People will only go after you if given a reason. 37 US mpg == 44.44mpg == 6.36L/100km There are loads of petrol/gas cars that can exceed that. For example you can get an Alfa Romeo Mido that can get 47.1mpg combined and does 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. You can get a VW Golf that does 44.8mpg and does 0-60 in 8 seconds. You can get a BMW 120i M Sport that gets very close doing 0-60 in 7.8 seconds in 44.1mpg. This is searching only for cars that do 0-60 in less than or 8 seconds, above that you will find a lot more. (All numbers from Autotrader.co.uk, all cars mentioned can be had for less than £5k too)
