I joined this group earlier today and I like the system that you guys have put up here. Some really talented driver here too. I have driven some of the tracks and i've comparing my times to your times and i'm not gonna participate yet. I'm going to practice first. Probably an silly question but do i have to upload the vid via youtube?
I haven't seen anyone use something else yet, but Vidme or some other alternative would probably be fine.
I really enjoy the high speed nature of the third track. Really shows off what the I-Series Rally is good for. Managed a 02:52:472, which is pretty respectable for the crash.
Here is my very average time of 1:28.144 for Car Delivery Rally. This will undoubtedly be the run that does not get counted as it was rushed and my computer was being slow, hence the ultra low graphics. Just did a heap of runs with the new BRC2 specced Covet and managed a time of a 2:44.547 with an Xbox controller. Sadly my internet at the moment is incredibly slow, so I will upload the run around 12 hours from now, just before I leave for school. @MattKowalski Damn dude, i struggled to get my time with a controller.
2:41.061, Sunburst, keyboard. Not that happy about it, I know I can be faster but the new tires are proving much harder to master than I thought. It's quite a challenge to keep on that line between grip and understeer/oversteer with a keyboard. Way more forgiving than before when you step over the limit, but you scrub off so much time while sliding. Gotta keep on learning
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I'm complaining about it. It's just a little frustrating to adjust my inputs again, but I guess I chose my pain Your run actually looks super smooth, it looks like most of the time was lost out of the two slow corners, as one might expect from a FWD car vs. AWD.
Wow, @MattKowalski ! Your times with keyboard are insane ... I'm just not able to beat them. I'll blame my ol' pessima ... Talking about this Pessima: here is my time for the 3rd stage. 2:43.401 min. As always with wheel and H-shifter.
Got a 2:48.133. Looks like my time is pretty sub-par, which I guess I can justify to myself by saying I only had one real session with it where I tried to get serious improvement out of it. G27 used.
@SouthernPotato Tried the Pessima Introduction stage and I seem to have a problem with the checkpoints: only the first 4 spawns and that's it. Tried to re-download, cleared cache but nothing. Others have this happening?
Event 3 has ended, here are the standings. View in Google Sheets The fourth stage is broken indeed, the update broke some of the checkpoints. I'll have it fixed in a couple hours hopefully (update posted below). --- Post updated --- The mod is awaiting approval on the update to fix the checkpoints, so here's the file. Just replace the original old file in the mods folder and it should work. Let me know if there are any issues.
