Interesting tidbit: The red used by Audi was officially known as Marsrot or Mars Red. Cool tie-in. Also: Whoops. This is now a 1983 Audi quattro. Are any quattro owners willing to stick their car on a dyno? I can't find any torque curves for the WR 2.1L or any other quattro, interestingly. I'm pretty certain that I extrapolated the low-end totally wrong. (imported from here)
Odds of a Group B version are quite good, but it will come much later than the release of the road car, seeing that I'll have to remodel, retexture, re-n/b, and re-everything most of the car.
I'm waiting for slidenodes so I can finish the suspension. Until the devs get slidenodes done, I'm not really one to give you an estimate.
I see you've changed some things since the first picture. It's a sweet model. Will it be four wheel drive or all wheel drive? Most likely AWD correct? Because the suspension would be different due to the rear axle and I'm sure that right now the suspension in your problem. I'm guessing? - - - Updated - - - I'm sorry. Re-reading it I noticed I missed a page where you assured that it will be all wheel drive. I thought I hit all pages but I missed one.
Thanks, man. Yeah, definitely AWD like the real car. I'm still working on other aspects of the car, so I'm not just sitting idle waiting for slidenodes
Are you still doing this? or what? Edit: soreh if i seemed rude. i'll ask you questions more politely from now on.
Shit son, mad bump. Being a little more polite about it wouldn't hurt, but whatever. I'm not going to piss around here, but I haven't touched this project since my last post in this thread. I'm thinking of redoing the whole model because the polyflow on the one you see here is complete shit. tl;dr for the time being, no.
Great detailing I love audi quattros there fantastic cars and they have the best all wheel drive system. By the way nice model for the start of it and can't wait til it done so keep up the great work.
As a temporary work around I would go on Forza Motorsport 4/5 and look at the stock HP/Ft. lbs TQ curve sheet when increasing the engine performance, that just my two cents.
This project is hardly being worked on, but thanks for your advice. It's not dead though, so I'll post progress when there's something worth posting. To everyone else, refrain from posting in this thread, since you're bumping something that is essentially on hold. Tl;dr next person who posts here will be banned.
