Re: What does everone have under the hood? because I found the motherboard, cpu, and 4gb of ram on ebay for $17.59. Granted the guy did send me 2 screwwed up motherboards, but the one i'm using doesn't cause BSOD anymore after I turned the on board ethernet controller off

Re: What does everone have under the hood? and exactly, HOW, much did you pay for this? (extremley high end cpu, with a horrible, horrible, gpu, most pre-builts/laptops tend to make things a lot more expensive then there actually worth)
Re: What does everone have under the hood? Funny thing is since it's a mobile cpu and is cut down, this Extreme cpu really probably only amounts to a run of the mill low end i5 in gaming.
Re: What does everone have under the hood? I'm sceptical that an HD4000 will be turning out BeamNG at 120fps considering mine doesnt even do 60 with physics paused on lowest settings. Either that or he's just reported the GPU wrongly.

Corsair XMS3-DHX 4x1GB (yeah this was nearly $500 just for the RAM at the time) OCZ Vertex 90GB SSD (added in 2012) 2x 500GB Seagate .12's in '0 for Games, Probably around 2010 those were installed, previously was a 2x400gb hitachi array. 2TB Samsung for storage (2010) GTX 460 1GB (added 2010) Prev 8800GTS Water Cooling (Since 08) Fractal Define R3 (added later) 750w Corsair PSU (from 08) IDE Pioneer DVR-111 hahah I forget what else. 27" Samsung LCD Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (come at me bros) Microsoft Sidewinder Keyboard Eaton Powerware 1kVA UPS w/ Larger SLA's Some other wank no doubt. The core machine was VERY Expensive, and was it worth it? yes. every penny. Am starting to look at new options now, can get a lot more bang for buck these days! Oh and laptop - Macbook Pro 13" w/ 8GB RAM and a 240GB SSD. gets good battery life. Workshop has an old HPD530SFF for it's Serial port to run older car diagnostic scanners. 2GB of DDR1 as well haha.

Re: What does everone have under the hood? and there's no dedicated or discreete gpu of any kind? if so, then your lying about 120fps, its just not possible, in any way shape or form, on an intel hd 4000, your probably looking at the wrong fps meter, or CTRL+F is lying to you, in which case, download a free-trial of fraps, open it, but dont start recording, and tell us what fps it gives (and take a screenshot ussing puush or Print Screen, and make sure the fraps fps shows up in the screenshot) and that will tell you the correct fps

Thanks I'll use this as my future fps checker... - - - Updated - - - oh I forgot the screen shot I guess I'll try it again... just a second... - - - Updated - - - OK here you go, I don't know what the big deal is... there is V-sync and no V-sync
Re: What does everone have under the hood? see, told you, your not getting 120fps , those fps's are way more belivable, also, strange that your getting 30fps with vsync on, it should be at 60, unless your monitor is really, really, really, REALLY, old of course
